Obsessed. It’s gorgeous!!
I am infatuated with our new sink!! I went back and forth about doing stainless or silgranit during our kitchen remodel. I had been looking at the Ruvati workstation sink (old sink was a standard double bowl stainless Kohler, pretty shallow although I never realized just how shallow until now!).After reading through 1,567 reviews for multiple sinks I was more overwhelmed than ever. Several of the Ruvati reviews talked about water not draining out and scratching super easy. Our kitchen design incorporates some black so I started researching options in black. When we picked out our countertops I saw a Blanco sink in the other black color that has some sheen to it. Didn’t like that for our design because we have brass hardware and the sheen looked kind of silver in the light. When I saw this matte coal black on here I was SOLD.Pros: it’s beautiful!! It looks so amazing in the kitchen and I LOVE having the black sink. The size of the bowl is incredible. I never knew such joy washing dishes (or not washing them/loading them in the dishwasher for a few hours, because you can’t see them in the bottom anyway)!I read reviews about some people getting a cracked sink but ours arrived great! The corners are slightly curved so good doesn’t get stuck like some people mention in the stainless workstation sinks. It looks modern and classic at the same time, and very elegant.I can fit every large cookie sheet and casserole dish I have down in it to soak/wash and still have plenty of room!Cons: I’ve noticed a couple of marks from something heavy or silverware, but you have to really look for them and I’m probably the only one in my house OCD enough to even notice. I considered getting a silicone mat/grid for the bottom of it, but honestly I haven’t found one yet that doesn’t have mixed reviews about mildew under it, and I don’t want to take away from the beauty of the sink. (Also hard to find a solid black one that fits from my searching!)I’m so happy with our sink!!

Beautiful, deep vast sink
This sink is truly impressive once installed. Its like washing in a deep cavern, whose texture sounds and feels harmonious with the water as it falls into it. It reminds me of nature sounds, like a stream cascading over rocks. Its quite organic. I initially wanted a fireclay farmhouse sink and needed a counter replacement to do that. There began my kitchen remodel, with quartz selected as the new countertop material. However, the fireclay sink arrived broken, and it was for the best because the counter installers said those type of sinks needed to be installed prior to the counter, which defeated my entire purpose. They recommended Blanco, which I found in my desired color- Cinder- here on Amazon. I liked this style best- its the most generously sized. It actually looks much bigger once in! I can easily wash a medium large dog in there, or comfortably repot my oversized plants in there. I will order a bumper so my cast iron pots don’t inadvertently hurt it. The drop is substantial so I won’t take any chances. Otherwise, the sink is too attractive to put ugly bumpers in it. The thick silicone drip mats from Yamazaki will be fine actually. I highly recommend this sink. It gives any farmhouse sink a run for its money and its much easier to install.

Great looking sink.
This is my fourth sink. The third on Amazon and one ordered from Home Depot. The first two sinks had a chip on upper left corner with a bolt jutting out. I felt like with the price of this sink, it needs to be near perfect condition. After the third anthracite sink had scratches on the rim that was to be exposed, I returned and decided to try the coal black. This one came from a different vendor on Amazon and it had a little exposed bolt but no scratches so I kept it and I’m excited for my kitchen remodel to begin in April. The marks from the cardboard packing wiped off easily. I really liked the anthracite color but I’m happier with the coal black. These Blanco sinks are in high demand and right now Amazon is the only way to get one right away. All other local stores have back orders. These sinks will scratch but if you get the grate it should be ok.

Color "Black" comparison
I have a great photo of four sink brands side by side in a collage photo.. describing their sink color as "Black". Unfortunately it won't upload. We are remodeling kitchen 2021....going with black granite and I wanted a true black sink. The brands I ordered were: Blanco. Kohler Kraus, and Elkay. All single basinThe Blanco and Kohler are black.....the Blanco, as named, was coal black. We chose Blanco. The Kohler would have work color wise but the Blanco won.The Kraus and Elkay in comparison were more dark dark gray but also had not sparkles but variations in color. I wish the photo would upload. It is really apparent when sitting side by side. It was work to return them but so glad we saw them here in our home. This review is only in regard to color. None were installed so I can not speak to durability etc.I hope this helps someone who is looking for a true black sink. All 4 sinks arrived well packaged and none cracked or broken.

Big and beautiful
We've had the white color sink installed with white quartz countertops for about a month now. I washed it with a sponge for the first time today, and there is no staining whatsoever (and we aren't particularly careful with it). The one thing I am careful with is my pourover coffee filters, I chuck them in the trash and rinse the filter holder instead of setting it in the sink to drip dark coffee on the bottom. We also did get the metal grate to protect the bottom of the sink, which I highly recommend. 5/5 on that as well. I will often wash a big pot and let it sit on the grate to dry in the sink, and it works wonders. (bad photo, best I had but I will add a better one)

Sink arrived broken in multiple pieces and missing components
The sink was received broken into multiple pieces and missing the metal strainer. The sink also doesn’t feel like previous Blanco sink we have had before makes me think that it is a “knock-off” sink and not a real Blanco.

The sink arrived without a strainer.
The sink arrived without a strainer. If it is sold without the strainer the photo of the sink must be replaced. Very disappointing!
