Good for college students, iffy if you need good screen quality
The media could not be loaded. This was my first time putting on a screen protector on my iPad, so I was nervous, but it was easy and I got it right my first try. The instructions are straightforward but more details wouldn’t hurt. I like this screen protector because it makes my writing easier and more fun. It’s more satisfying to write on a matte screen than a glass one, but I do have a real concern. This screen protector alters the quality of the screen, meaning that you can see rainbow dots all over (as seen in the video and images). I wouldn’t be too picky on this issue, but I bought this for my iPad Pro 12.9’’, and I’m not enthusiastic about missing out on the good quality it offers especially since I payed so much money for it. I intend to use this for school and taking notes so I know I can get used to it, but if you’re a professional artist then it’s important to consider this big downside. Also, I do get fingerprint marks (as shown in the photos) but not as much as I did with a glass screen, and it’s also easy to clean (prints get off easily using the cloth provided). Overall, I like this screen protector because of the texture when writing, but a big downside is the interference it has with the screen quality.2025 update:I initially purchased the matte screen protector in 2022 and only changed it once. I still agree that it distorts the screen quality, but I mostly use it for taking notes as a college student so I didn’t mind. I watch Netflix, YouTube, play CODM, Minecraft on the iPad and it bothered me at first but I then get too distracted to care. It’s also super easy to clean and I couldn’t notice any noticeable scratches. If it’s your first time purchasing a matte screen protector, this is the one. I like the writing noises (I included a video!) and low maintenance. It’s a plus if paired with a metal tip, as seen in the video, with the Apple Pencil 2. Overall the screen protector was a great buy!

This is the BEST drawing screen protector, bar none.
I purchased this item 3 separate times over the last few years. It is hands down the absolute best for drawing. Nothing comes close. Comparing to the paperlike: the paperlike burns your Apple Pencil nib out quickly as it is a bit too abrasive. This one does not do that to the same degree.Pros: it does a good job of handling glare. It does a great job responding to the pencil. It’s a perfect March for most cases IF APPLIED PROPERLY.It’s inexpensive. It comes with two in the event that you mess one up.The instructions are very clear.Cons: the “tooth” wears off of this iPad protector after about 40-50 hours of use. Which means you’ll need to replace it a few times a year if you are drawing intensively. It is a bit difficult to apply if you live in a dusty home.It is so precise if you don’t get it on just right most cases will bubble at a corner (this doesn’t effect it much)Pro tip: run a hot shower for about 15 minutes and allow the steam to take over. Apply the protector in the bathroom following all of the instructions. This will create a dust free environment and make you nail the first application so you’ll have another to replace when you find necessary.10/10 recommend.

Good but not great, at least not anymore
My work installed one of these on my iPad and it was great, really smooth matte and felt just like paper but when replacing with the same one years later, the new one is noticeably scratchier. It’s almost like fine sandpaper and the writing experience is definitely not as premium due to the increased grip. I can’t say the pencil glides anymore, even with fingers it feels noticeably grittier and louder. Nice that it comes with 2 protectors and a ton of stickers, cloth and instructions on how to install and remove air bubbles. Luckily, I was able to get a dust&bubble free installation with the convenient stickers but likely to try another brand next time if I really don’t like it. Feels like it will wear the pencil tips quicker and just not as pleasant to use as the old one.
