We prefer orange-based cleaners at our house and have used them for years. Star Brite's Ultimate Citrus Cleaner and Degreaser is one of the best we've tried.Citrus smells great and works well on grease and grime. It's also terrific for cleaning kitchen counters - it keeps ants away and kills any insects in its path. It makes short work of greasy burners on the stove, too. We love it in the bathroom forwiping down the tile walls and countertop and leaves the room smelling fresh and clean. And because it's natural, we don't have to worry about it being a danger to our pets.In addition to being useful inside the house, it also works really well on tough stains on our car - it even removes tar. Recommended.

I went outside this morning to find that a vulture had strafed our new Honda CRV. One of the many hazards in Southwest Florida is the abundance of bird droppings from several relatively large species, with the vultures and pelicans giving the most bang for the buck. Sometimes I swear that these birds know when you have a new car in the driveway.I always spray the offended area with a mist from our hose and let it sit for about a minute to help break up the chalky residue from bird poop. Afterwards you can apply a quick shot of any good quality cleaner and degreaser, let it soak in for another minute, and then wipe away gently with a clean cloth.This Star Brite works well on this particular problem but I wouldn't categorize the product as being "ultimate". However I was pleasantly surprised when I used it to clean the burned on grease on our countertop burners. It was just a simple matter of spraying a bit on, letting it sit for a bit, and then scraping the residue off with a razorblade.The only thing that I have found that works better cleaning cooktops is the Cerama Bryte Complete Cooktop Cleaning Kit which sells for about $2.00 more for the kit. However the Cerama Bryte cleaner is less useful on other projects around the house. The Star Brite smells better and gives you 32 oz. of a more 'all purpose' formula to use.

I have had good luck with Star Brite products in the past. This time, not so much. I got this cleaner/degreaser for the claim on the product back label that this works well removing old decal gummy residue.I tested this out on our vinyl fence where there was gummy residue after removing the rail's product decal. After liberally covering the area, waiting, scrubbing, and repeating the process twice more you can see from the photos that there really wasn't much success.This is the kind of task I had hoped to use this product on. So I'm disappointed and left with this conclusion: unless environmental concerns outweigh performance (and you're willing to spend lots of time and expend lots of elbow grease), for harder tasks (such as decal gummy residue and - for me - the majority of tasks associated with boat, RV, and garage tasks) there are (much) better alternatives (the many automotive bug & tar removers, for example). For light duty, indoor (?) tasks, maybe. But for what I want it to do (and what it seems to advertise itself to do), nope.Given previous experience and enthusiasm for Star Brite products I'm sorry to say that I'm underwhelmed.3 stars.

I find satisfactory results from the Star Brite 096432 Ultimate Citrus Cleaner and Degreaser. I’m not convinced that it’s in the “ultimate” category for cleaning, because I’ve used other brands that have a much more powerful cleaning capability.However, I find this brand handy to keep in the garage where there is plenty of cleaning opportunities from grease to grime. In addition, the citrus smell is not overpowering or too chemical-y.My biggest beef with this product is the bottle. It’s super cheap plastic, and I’ve experienced numerous times when the sprayer component either doesn’t spray or drips. Cleaning is frustrating enough; I don’t need the added aggravation of bottle malfunctions.

This did an incredible job on kitchen grease--that insidious mixture of dust and aerosolized cooking grease that is so dirty and hard to remove. I tackled all the shelves, backsplash, and walls surrounding my range. With a light spray of this stuff and a microfiber towel, it wiped off like surface dust. Regular kitchen cleaner requires a lot of elbow grease and/or a utility scraper for the same surround surfaces, and is frustratingly ineffective on the walls. It leaves a nice finish on the stainless and I couldn't see any visible residue on the walls (we have semi-gloss paint on the kitchen walls).I've tried a lot of degreasers in the kitchen and this one probably tops the list. Many stainless cleaners have a terrible solvent or gasoline smell, but this is just a pleasant orange smell instead. I'm totally happy with this. Yay!

Not a lot to say here. I had a disgusting stain on my carpet and nothing would get it out (the usual stain removers that work great did nothing). A friend who cleans for a living came over and asked if we had any cleaners like this (it happened while I was away and my wife told me about it when I saw the carpet stain was gone), and she sprayed this product and scrubbed the stain...and it removed all the black grimy grease!So if you have a normal stain on your wall...use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. If you have a normal carpet stain...use carpet stain remover. If you have a GREASE stain...use this!!!!

I have used one other Star brite product – a fabric deoderizor. It worked great like this cleanser, so I know that Star brite is a good company. This cleaner uses the power of citrus to remove the toughest grime, dirt, fish blood, grease stains and more. This cleanser breaks up stains on contact. The fresh scent deodorizes treated surfaces too. Great for marine, automotive, and home use. We use it in the home. I don’t like price stickers on the bottoms of new items. I used this cleaner to removes the gummy sticker residue. I also use it in the kitchen and TV room to wipe down surfaces when I want a fresh scent instead of the smell of bleach cleansers. I like that this cleanser is biodegradable.
