God Eater 3 (PS4)

Awesome game...Have lost hours playing this since it's arrived.

God eater 3 is an excellent addition to the franchise. Recent updates to the game add a tonne of new missions and feature, with more promised throughout the year.If you are new to games like this, graphically it doesn't have the polish of titles such as Monster Hunter World. You will also see a great deal of cleavage and suggestive dialogue and camera angles. I'm not really sure why to be honest as it's a little out of place.There is room for improvement for sure but its a very fun game once you get used to the above.

The gameplay hasn't changed all that much from previous installements besides the addition of linkage bonds, similar to the blood arts it actually feels easier. Its a shame story wise that we only get to see one of the previous characters i.e. soma under a different name. A good way to pass a few hours.

Disappointment to put it lightly, missions seem repetitive and drags on, any combo that you use with any weapon can be broken by the monsters regardless of how quick you are to block, invisiblity frames are shocking, you can be 1 shot, revived, 1 shot multiple times losing endurance fast or unable to move, monsters target you a lot/cheapness, not leaving room for a chance to hard attack most of the time, Menus are clunky, for example in order to sell a weapon I have to go to layout, in order to see the current upgrade tree for a weapon I have to go to another menu, having to remember what weapon I was gonna upgrade or customise in the first place, this can get iritating when you have loads of weapons and shields there, the menu should be more unified for easier access, no option to customize your AI companions apart from the special skills available, in order to get more avatars to use in single player you need to be online, in order to get more engage effects, you need to be online, in order to get some weapon upgrades you need to be online and complete the assult missions which are near impossible to do with offline AI within 5 minutes, yeah you get the picture for thatOverall I feel the experience playing this title as my first god eater game is half done, there is a much better experience playing the monster hunter series that is more whole, has a better combat system, armour, weapons, and quests e.t.c I don't think I would really want to play a new god eater title after this one honestly, even after getting this on sale for under £10
