Pelican Vault Long Cases - Hard Case For Camera, Rifle, Gear, Equipment

Purchased this case for my Tavor 7 and the quality is exactly what you’d expect from Pelican. The construction is solid, latches are tight, hinges feel bombproof, and the case has that reassuring rigidity you want for a heavy rifle. I haven’t put it into full use yet because I’m still in the middle of my Tavor 7 build (handguard, optics, and light setup), but just handling the case makes it obvious it’s built to protect serious gear. Plenty of interior room, well thought-out layout, and it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy in any way. If you’re running a Tavor 7 or similar rifle and want a no-nonsense hard case that inspires confidence, this is a solid choice. Once my build is complete, this will be the case it lives in.

Excellent protection for the money. Strong and large enough for multiple items. Would like the ability to stand up when stopping while on line at the airport when using the rolling wheels and stopping.

This is a large and well built hard case for long guns. The AirForce Texan LSS 0.457 air rifle measures in at 61" with the custom Maddog rifle stock and fits this case with room for padding. Case width and depth are perfect for the mounted ATN Thermal Scope optics. The foam cuts easily with a new utility knife and I find it superior to the pre-cut or diced foam of other cases. I find the latches easy on the fingers and easy to use compared to other hard cases I own. Great case for scoped long rifles and offered at an affordable price point.

This box is extremely sturdy. I can put rifles, handguns or anything I want secure in it. I use this for transporting expensive katanas and it works great. It also looks fantastic.

Fits my 870 perfectly. It's not pluck foam so you've gotta cut it. Lots of foam padding. Good buckles. Locking points outside near the handle.

Same one I deployed with, mine and the ones I deployed with are tough, took beatings in some of the craziest locations, and in the transport to get to and from said locations. It's convenient, takes locks, rolls with wheels, and can be carried if you can lift the weight of all the things in it. The seals and handles are protected with flat ridges, allowing you to stack them in any orientation and never have to worry about damaging the functionality. However, the glue holding the top lid of the Styrofoam is weak and comes off easily.

Great case for the money. This “Vault” series doesn't feel quite as robust as the Pelican “Air” series, despite being heavier in weight. The handle and button-latches are decent, but not quite as nice as the Air series Pelican cases, and the hinges arent notched, so the lid doesn't stay upright when the case is open. Despite this, the material that the case is made of still seems tough, and MUCH more sturdy than some other knockoff pelican cases I've had. If you arent scared to cut some foam, this makes for a great guitar case for odd shaped and longer guitars.

as usual with all Pelican products, the quality is unmatched. it easily fits two scoped rifles, and that's what I needed. The only downside is, it was shipped with USPS and it took roughly month to be delivered. promised was 8 days!!

I've had a few hard cases already and this is by far my favorite. It's made well. Nice and beefy to protect my rifle. The foam is a good balance of soft and dense to keep your firearm from bouncing around during transport. The foam inside is 3 separate layers on the bottom. You will need a sharp knife and some patience to cut out the profile you need. The latches hold the lid down tightly. The entire case is a hard plastic. It's light enough to hual around for a little with minimal effort but it is heavy enough to feel well made, and it is. I was a bit hesitant on buying it due to the cost but comparing that to the cost of what it's protecting, it's worth it.
