I have used this trowel every day for months now, ever since it arrived. It is very well made. The wood handle is smooth, the claw tines are sharp and effective, and the tool is built to last. It is an excellent tool that I expect will last for many, many years.

I'm an addicted gardener - current huge garden is a pollinator's paradise. Mostly on a hill, extremely rocky, boulders. I bought one of these claws about two years ago. It is still in incredible shape - only the handle has darkened with use. Heavy use for months through spring , summer, & fall. I decided to buy two more in case I lose this one (& my husband wanted one - I don't let anyone else use this tool). It is super strong, perfectly fits the hand. If you're confronted by huge deep rocks when cultivating the soil, this claw can be used to pull the beast out of the ground. Again & again. I've never had any tool that has been put through so much heavy use & yet emerge unscathed. It deserves 10 stars. You will love it. (I just bought Cate's Garden knee pads & will purchase more claws as Christmas gifts for friends.)

Good for gardening and cleaning leaves and debris from clogged sewers grates when they flood during heavy rains

If I'm going to be bent over in my garden I sure do want a tool that works very well. If you have a garden and some small weeds are starting to show, this is the tool to use. The flat design of the teeth really digs in if you need it to for pulling or pushing it, but the pointed teeth also allow a light delicate more shallow touch if that's what you want. I use the full width between rows and it works great, but if you have plants within a row that are kinda close, moving this tool sideways left to right gives you a good narrow precise dig. I don't mind bending over, but if they have this tool on a stick, I'd own it that design too. Perhaps they do, I'm going to go and see. I highly recommend this tool.
