Brother Original parts
Amazon carries many original parts for brother scan and cut machines. If not for them these items would cost more and be harder to get. Joanns nor any other store you go to has much of anything for Brother machines or accessories. Brother.com is even more expensive but does not have the number of items on amazon.

Good for thin fabrics and paper
This blade is good for quilters. It cuts down the time needed on making small project pieces, such as half square triangles and drunkards path pieces. This saves time on projects.

No Blade Included
This blade holder holds a thin fabric blade, just as one would assume from it's documentation. It holds it well. The machine cuts with the blade holder mounted according to product requirements. The only thing wrong with this product is that it does not include the blade required to use it, and that blade must be purchased separately. Brother pricing for accessories is already quite predatory, and this object is no exception.

Gave 5☆ for item. Came in perfect condition. A bit on the pricey side. I opened the package and I didn't see any blade. So I asked to have it replaced. My replacement was going to be shipped...Went back to check the product.. it says holder only. So it's my fault for not reading all the details and was relying on someone else review which many reviewers mentioned it was the blade and that they were happy to find more blade replacement they were looking for. Unless the seller had the blade reviews combined with this blade holder. Anyways.. so I canceled the exchange item. Decided to keep what I had, and started looking for just the blade.. no where to be found on Amazon.ca.. nor the Scanncut website.. all other site had all sold out. Luckily I found it on Amazon.com. If I hadn't found any.. I would have return the blade holder.
