As an online reading coach, this has been my favorite book so far in the Puppy Place series. My student was able to predict the end, and I did not expect this ending. This book gave me goosebumps with what happened to Jack.

Great book.

Ellen Miles' Puppy Place books have turned my 7-year-old daughter into a reader! She loves "Jack" and all of the books in the series. I highly recommend them for young readers. Note, there are no illustrations which bothers my 5 year old son, but my daughter has zero complaints. She loves them.
