The pros:No problem carrying three adults. Would also work for two adults and two kids. Cool to be able to take the whole family out in one kayak.Stable in the water. No danger of tippingCons:Poor tracking, easy to oversteer. With two or three paddlers the rear one has to spend most of her time steering in even a light wind or waves. I recommend using kayak paddles for the front seats and a canoe paddle for the helmswoman.Rear seat does not drain. There are no scuppers in the real seat, so it will develop a pool of water there if you are in any surf or splashing. It's fine where I use it (Bahamas = warm water) but this would be uncomfortable in colder climates.Conclusion: Happy I bought it, but I wish it was easier to handle. A couple of skegs would make a big difference.

I am pretty excited about this boat. It exceeded expectations. I love the stability and the self bailing. It EASILY fits 2 adults 2 children!

Our family of 4 has enjoyed this kayak. We have taken it out on the river 4 or 5 times. It is light enough for me and my husband to lift. It glides over incredibly shallow parts of the river.
