I was very skeptical when I opened the package because the comforter is basically weightless. Fear none! It is absolutely perfect for when you need something warmer than your regular quilt, but lighter than fall / winter fluffy comforter. I was also iffy about the fitted sheet because it didn't look like it would fit my mattress. Wrong again - perfect fit! I am now thinking about ordering another set in a different color.Update - it did great in the wash. I followed manufacturer's instructions (wash on delicate, dry on low) and the comforter came out perfectly fluffy.

This comforter is absolutely beautiful. So soft, so comfortable and so elegant looking. I got way more than I would expect for this price. It is light weight, but not too light. It’s like the perfect weight. I’ve been disappointed in the past when buying California King size only to get it home and it does not fit. This is truly a California King fit and it fits beautifully! Thinking of buying another color just to have on hand. Love it.

[Update after 1 year] I sleep with a lightweight blanket under this comforter, to avoid that "floating around in stuffing" feeling I get when I use it alone. It fixes the issue. I only use it on cold nights but it is the warmest, coziest place to sleep. I love it and never want to get out of bed! The fitted sheet did, in fact, rip after some time. I have machine washed it 3x but only hang to dry (tho one time I tossed it in dryer for 10 min). It has held up well, no pilling or shifting of stuffing.[Original] I was underwhelmed when I first opened it - the comforter looked flat and thin - but after washing and drying, it fluffed up quite a bit and really does look quite nice. It's very soft to the touch. It's very warm - warmer than you'd think upon first opening. We're using it now (in winter) with our heat off. It gets down to about 61 at night and you don't need a blanket with this comforter, it's borderline too warm. My only real complaint about it is that the comforter feels very...Loose? I'm not sure how to explain. It's like sleeping inside cotton candy. Lol. The stuffing is kinda just floating around and is not sewed down. The comforter doesn't have much "weight" to it so the stuffing is always shifting. Hard to explain but another reviewer mentioned this. For some people, this might be fine, but I'm a light sleeper and sensitive to texture, and feeling kinda "tangled up" in my bedding at night bothers me. I tend to feel that way with this comforter. The pillows are nice and the fitted sheet is alright (could be a bit deeper, and it's quite thin so worried it might rip at the first snag. Color is also true to photo (Beige). Overall it looks and feels very inviting minus the "floating" stuffing.

This is absolutely my favorite purchase from Amazon yet. The quality of this bed set is amazing, the length is fantastic, it is ecstatically beautiful, it's very lightweight and breathable but yet if it's cool in your room it will keep you so warm. What a great product if I could give it 10 Stars I would.

Love the softness of the fabric and the colors are great, washing the item ruins the pattern of the stuffing since it moves around, the price was right for the quality , it’s very warm for the winter months.
