I added these GBL Heavy Duty Castor Wheels with 2 Brakes to my home workbench, and they’ve been fantastic. They let me easily move the bench outside when I’m working on larger or messier projects. The wheels are really solid—my bench isn’t light, and I often use heavy tools on it with no problem at all. After two years of use, they’re still going strong with no signs of wear or issues. Great quality and a must-have upgrade for any workshop setup!

fitted these castors to a 8ft x 4ft workbench i made, very heavy. I can move it around one handed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I made a version of a flight case for an organisation that has to transport its goods along a path and over several roads, because buying a purpose built case was far too costly. Stupidly the first set of castors I bought, I didn't consider the weight limits and they broke going over some rough road surfaces but these are much more robust and have worked very well. I mounted them to some planks and then simply screwed the planks to the base of the box using some spacers to allow for the protruding nuts. They lock mechanism is simple to use as long as correctly positioned to allow access near the outer edge of the item.

Incredibly strong, I used them as roller coaster wheels and are actually stronger than the average coaster wheels, would recommend them for anyone looking for heavy duty casters for all kinds of heavy industrial uses, I’m pretty sure that it could hold a large van given the size and strength provided, can’t wait to see these get popular in the diy market! Really well made. Perfect for my project. Didn’t notice when ordering there is no brake on any of the wheels, my fault for not fully reading the description. Didn’t matter for what i used them for but take this into consideration when ordering if this will be a problem for you.

They are the same size as the ones in the shopping carts (Tesco). They have brakes and seem very solid. They arrived on time and in very good condition. Thank you Amazon!

Great smooth heavy duty castors! Even look good. I installed these on a self made workbench, so I can work both inside the shed and outside. I use a circular saw a lot, so I wanted/ needed really stable wheels, which these are. Stable when on brakes, easy smooth rolling with relatively large wheels with brakes of. Very happy with them!
