Durable, can mount anywhere.
For the garage, it’s nice to keep the area 50+F. so paint, caulk , consumables and bowling balls stay above freezing.

Not really large enough to read without being right on top of it
It is a nice concept but was expecting something you could read from about 4' to 6' away. You have to be right next to it to read the temp. Other than that it's OK. Wish I would have purchased something that could be read at a glance further away.

I have it sitting next to my thermostat to prove the correct temp
It works great , I can proof how hot or cold the temp is in the house.
