Zoomy Zoomy: improv games and exercises for groups

I've wanted to incorporate some improv warm-ups for my group, and I got some good ideas from this book. For the authors: I would suggest thinking about changing the title. I know "Zoomy Zoomy" is an exercise, but I almost didn't buy this book because I thought it was for very young children.

I'm currently studying psychpdrama and playback theatre, and was looking for books with engaging activities. This book is concise yet packed with lots of activities, along with useful comments about duration, group size and much more. Hanna's style is very readable and clear.

As a member of the playback community I so appreciate Hannah has written this book for us to utilise games and pathways into the playback form.It's a must have for any playback practicioner its delightful to see friends names in the book as source information for some of the exercises and lovely to see the playback theatre community acknowledged in such a way.Zoomy Zoomy 2? ☺

I really enjoyed the way the categories for the activities were split up into. This book is filled with great ideas that are easily transferable to a group of performers.

This book has many theatre activities. It is well organized and simply stated so the directions are easy to follow. Excellent resource!

I ordered this book to use in my fifth grade classroom. It is full of great activities to get kids working together, taking risks, and having fun. I liked it so much I ordered it twice more as gifts for my children's teachers.

I am a new acting teacher, and this book has saved my life. The exercises are so effective and so fun. My students are engaging with the work and growing in such amazing ways. I highly suggest these practical and enriching approaches!

I use this a lot. Great range of games and activities, easy to put into practice and modify. Specially good to have exercises that help with playback skills.
