Missouri Tactical M27/HK416 Style Recoil Pad

These are great! Especially compared to the factory pad on my guns. They were so simple to pop on in a few seconds and fit my AR-15s EXACTLY. I haven't shot with them yet, but they feel nice, again especially compared to the factory pads. I can't wait to go shooting though to test them out. I bought another exactly like this style, but for my shot gun and had to buy these for my ARs as well after i got that one. I bought their other style first and they were great, but these are even better!! I highly recommend. For this price and value you can't go wrong.

This is a non-negotiable required part for a 450 bushmaster AR. Instead of barely making it through a mag, you can shoot all day. The faster the bullet, the more benefit you get from a brake. With big slow heavy bullets you get very little benefit from a brake at all and need a good recoil pad instead. This recoil pad is very solid with very little give, but under the intense recoil of a 450, it compresses and makes a world of difference. It comes to the shoulder quickly despite being slightly wider and you would never know it wasn't originally part of the stock. It attaches solidly and seamlessly with no tools which is the first hint at what an awesome part this is. When you see your shoulder the day after shooting and notice it's red instead of black and blue and purple you will love it. You can throw the rifle at the ground butt first and bounce it back to your hand to give you an idea of the springyness. I know it looks rounded and you would think that would reduce the contact with your shoulder which is true, but only until recoil compresses it. Under full compression it is perfectly formed and welded to your shoulder, even if you don't get a good contact with your shoulder in the first place. If you have a 450 bushmaster, 458 socom, or 50 beowulf then you need this part. If you have a kid shooting a 350 or 400 legend then this would also help.

This is a perfect fit for my AR-10 well made not to soft or hard. My opinion you may want to add a zip tie to Secure it to your platform. I used gorilla glue very Generously to the inside of the pad . I didn’t think it the zip tie Application till after the Gorilla glue was on it for about 10 minutes .I hope this helps you out!

Everyone shoots her gun says this is a great add on. Just put it on my kids 300 aac to help her feel better about it and man I dig it. Also keeps it centered in the pocket well

Fits well on folding stock

Perfect fit with the rear sling swivel installed on an H&K 416. The added 1 1/2" or so of length adding the pad to the stock, in the fully extended position, gives the rifle a better "feel", and sighting position. The stock has a more "finished" appearance with the recoil pad as opposed to the bare, flat end of the stock. One personal preference modification I did, since this is a slip-on/slip-off accessory, was to run a thin bead of 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (the black product, not the yellow variety) around the inside perimeter of the pad where it contacts the stock, before installing the pad over the stock. Install the pad, let it cure overnight, and there's no chance of it ever slipping off (or someone appropriating the pad for their own gun!). Great price vs. the H&K version! Fast shipping.
