Axolotls love these!! They are soft for them to actually chew. You can smell the quality over most store bought pellets that should not be fed. Just an fyi these should not be the main diet. I give them more as a treat.

These are the only thing my axolotls will willingly eat. They've snubbed worms, fish, every other thing I've tried. They've exclusively had this (with many other things offered, to no avail) for the couple years I've had them so far, and they are super healthy, they've doubled in size, and their color and floofs are huge. 100% will order again, I find one bag lasts me about 1-2 months for 2 adult (10-11ish inches) axolotls. I use a specific corner of the tank with a little platform, place a small pile on it like a food dish, and they're happy clams.

My Axolotl loves these and eats them consistently. We did feed him too many the first time we opened the package (about 10-15 pellets) and he spent the next day and a half laying on the bottom of his tank like, "Uggghhh what did I eat?" But he finally pooped and felt better. So be sure to portion them well. He also has gained some weight since eating them, but he's not overweight yet. Our Axolotl is an eater. These pellets can make the fish tank water smell and look kind of fishy is my only complaint. The water now has a greenish hue, even though I change his water and clean his filter every couple of weeks. Overall, I would buy them again since it's easier to feed him pellets than chop up earthworms, and I feel like he's getting a more balanced diet this way.

My axolotls were being fed frozen blood worms and brine shrimp as their main diet, knowing this isn’t a nutritious diet for a growing axolotl I wanted to find something better. I only use these pellets now as my 3 lovely axolotls are quite clueless when it comes to finding food on the bottom of the tank. this is the only food they were able to find on their own. I suggest buying the smallest size first to test it out then getting the 9 ounce if you have more than one axolotl. My axolotls (2 adults and 1 juvenile 4-5 inch) ate an entire 3.5 ounce bag in about a month. it’s great for picky eaters and small axolotls!

I have these on subscription as my Aoxy loves them. I have a feeding tube to a dish in his tank and he will hover over his feeding dish waiting for me to drop them down the tube. He always eats every bit. Highly recommend.

My Axolotl's (all four) didn't care for these, and wouldn't pick them up off the ground like they would bloodworms. Although it's nice in a pinch of time to be able to feed them eat a few, they don't seem appetizing to them, and they will make your tank water very dirty if you do not clean them up. That being said, other lizards may react differently! Still glad to have an option, quality ingredients in the product.
