Does the Job Well
I made some stuffed peppers with this rack and they turned out fairly good. You have to use the right size Pepper or they will either fall through alor not fit in securely enough. To solve that, I took the recipe cars that came with it and traced one of the holes onto it and cut it out. This way I could use it as a gauge to pick the right sized jalapenos, as well as have the ingredient list right at my fingertips.Cleans up fairly easy thanks to the stainless steel. I would suggest cleaning by hand, not in the dishwasher. The scoring knife that came with it is not the best quality or the sharpest, but once you get the motion down, it makes cleaning out the peppers a snap. You'll still get a seed ot too in some of the peppers, but I like that. I keeps a little heat in the mix. All in all, I'll be ordering another one so I can make larger batches at barbeques and family gatherings, because these ones went FAST.

Decent product
I own a similar product and bought this as a gift for a friend. The material is not as thick as the one I currently have but mine is overkill. This one is more than adequate for its purpose and is good quality. I would definitely recommend. I find the 18-hole model to be the right size although I've been tempted to get a larger one.The corer will only work for relatively large fat peppers but it seems to do a good job with those. It takes a little bit of practice. I use a particular knife that, through trial and error, I found to work best on all sizes of peppers. As for those complaining about the holes not being the right size - get over it and use toothpicks to hold the peppers in place. I've made hundreds of poppers over the past several years, and most of them will fall through these holes. Even the larger peppers that initially fit, will fall through because they shrink during cooking. The toothpicks also make it easier to pick them up to eat.

Pepper Roasting Rack
I had seen similar racks in use on a trip to the southwest and was going to purchase one in a shop. My host commented that She had gotten hers from Amazon for half the cost and I would not have the inconvenience of packing the rack for the trip home. She was right - This rack is well made of stainless steel, durable, and has the added advantage of coming with a tool to core the seeds from the peppers. I made some jalapeno poppers, and some hot hungarian peppers on the grill last night and this rack worked as advertised. This rack would probably also work with banana peppers or any similar shaped pepper. Holds the peppers upright and allows the heat to roast the pepper evenly in about a half hour on a Weber with the lid closed (Grill was already hot from other grilling). I barbecued pork steaks and when I put them in the roasting pan of sauce to tenderize, I started the peppers. By the time I had them cleaned, stuffed, and cooked - the meat was also ready to serve. The rack also functions as a work stand while stuffing the peppers!

Well, it won't burn up on the grill. Happy about that....
I don't think this is a bad product. It is solid and won't fall apart on the grill, can be cleaned with reasonable ease, etc.. However, it requires BIG jalapenos, like Texas sized, and I'm a Colorado gardener. Even when I harvest my biggest, they don't stand up in this thing through the grilling process unless I stick a toothpick across the top to keep them from slumping and losing all of the filling to the fire. And that corer thing is clearly meant for huge japalenos (bigger than I can even find in the store), because it tears the ones I've grown or purchased apart when I try to use it. I just use a paring knife. So, that thing is useless.

Fine Product
This is a fine product that does exactly what it was designed to do. However, while the peppers look nice in this rack, they're a bit difficult to prepare for roasting. It's necessary to use something like a Ziplok bag - with a corner cut off - to "load" the peppers. It's actually much easier to simply cut the peppers in two lengthwise and roast them with their stuffing in "boat" form.

Poppers Made Easy
My husband loves poppers, and I bought this as a Christmas gift for him. The corer works great; the rack is heavy duty and sturdy. We put it on the broiler pan and use it in the oven indoors. This summer we will use it on the grill. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars, is because the holes are too big for the peppers coming out of our garden, and we must purchase "giant" jalapenos from the grocery store in order for them to fit in the holes and not fall over. Otherwise, it's a five star product.

Good product
This is great for grilling or in the oven. Holds the peppers upright if you core and stuff. Obviously peppers are all different sizes. So some fell through (we used toothpicks to help this or wrap some bacon around them!) and some were too big and toppled over. You really need to find medium sized peppers.
