Dr. Ph. Martin'sTECH Drawing Ink (Set 1) Ink Bottle, 1.0 oz, Set 1, 1 Bottle

This is my 4th set of different Dr. PH Martins and so far the color combo and how it spread this one is my favorite. All Dr. PH Martin sets are permanent but this one has a very much watercolor effect which is the very reason I bought it. Plus it does not hurt that is on sale as well. I am in love with the colors and this set!

I add drawing ink to my drop paintings and it creates such an amazing contrast that I’m actually quite addicted to adding the ink. Super simple to use. A creative product and last a while. Worth the purchase!

I mix these with liquid gel medium for a very transparent wash of color in my acrylic paintings.These are quite different from the deeper more opaque Dr. Ph. Martin's Spectralite Private Collection.Nice range of color alternates to the spectralite I believe.

This is an excellent ink and can be used like water color. The colors are well saturated and flow easily. Highly recommend.

I just got done addressing around 50 or so wedding invitations using these and it worked really well! I saw someone give it a low rating because it didn’t work as a water color and rated it low but Dr.Martin makes liquid watercolor so the error is on the purchaser not the brand. I own Hydrus (their liquid watercolor line) and the India ink they make. I really like these for calligraphy!

I used this product for creating high quality art and to practice using to blend colors. I’m giving it 3 stars because the product came with ink that busted open and dried up in the case. I was not satisfied with the shipping process. I kept the ink and just cleaned up whatever busted open. Only because I really liked and needed the inks else I would’ve sent back to exchange.

I wanted to use these like a watercolor paint. Upon testing them I found the colors weak and not vibrant.
