I see a hook style mount bar in one picture and a straighter mount bar in another. Which mount bar comes with these. Are they the same on both colors?

It comes with the straighter mount bar. The mount bar design changed a number of years ago.

Does it come with the bicycle trailer coupler attachment?

When I ordered last year it came with the attachment to the bike.

the spring on my classic hitch makes cycling with my berner difficult as it absorbs the energy of the initial pedal . is this any different? and is th

You'll have to wait for the Britch tow arm. That is made suitable for heavy weight on the front and doesn't use a spring, but a pivoting connection.
