Q: What is max distance it will push the water?

I pushed it uphill about 150 feet with no issue. Please remember - this is a low pressure pump so if you are going to be just moving water, it is great. If you are looking for moving and pressure, you will not get.

Q: What is max distance it will push the water?

We use it to pump some pretty nasty water that pools up at the corner of our commercial property. We hooked it up to a 100' hose and shoot it out to the main storm drain. It's a pretty powerful little pump. I'm not sure how many gallons but it's like a decent sized round fountain worth of water and mud and leaves that goop up back there. I highly recommend this pump. Been using it for about 5 months now and have never had any problems with it. It's quick and puts to shame any little pump you would find in a Home Depot or Lowes.

Q: I need to pump out a pool that has leaves in it, will this work?

It can suck out objects that are 1/2 to 3/4 in diameter, so leaves should be no problem. It may get clogged up and you will need to unclog it occasionally. I am a plumber and this is the best pump I've ever bought. Use it for sewer pits all the time. Sturdy, indestructible. Don't leave it in water for a long time, say weeks, it is not stainless, so it will rust.
