I love this little book. I’ve tried several of the spells and find it psychologically satisfying. I bought another copy for a friend. I believe my favorite part is the fact that the spells are very positive and tend to change your mind just by completing them. It reminds me of the Good Witch TV show. I also like the fact that by performing these spells I am taken completely out of my comfort zone. For example, one of the spells had me bury remnants in a graveyard. I loved it. Highly recommend.

A book you can take any where for reference. Something you can use everyday. The Sabbats and phases of the moon are at your fingertips. Well written. Just so much information in one book. I loved it. I also preordered one for a friend of mine. I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review and no compensation otherwise.

The Little Book of Pocket Spells is a pretty little book that's ideal for those who are new-to or interested in learning the basics of being a modern witch.Each page gives a snippet of information, a specific spell, or basic important facts that all witches should know. Starting with the basics (like choosing an appropriate magick name) the book then meanders through various useful tips for everything from essential ingredients to have on hand to various methods of using visualization to succeed.I am particularly taken with the number of beauty tips in this book and I look forward to seeing the results from the daily Auric Facials I've been doing.Thank you to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing me with a DRC of this book.
