ADD Arctic Silver Thermal Paste when ordering this!!!
Overall this PCIe Add in Card for an M.2 SSD is fantastic.I purchased a 2GB Intel 660p M.2 SSD NVME and needed an Add in card since my HP z420 workstation does not natively support M.2. This add in card does the trick nicely when using the PCIe bus in achieving speeds in excess of 1.5 GBs Read/Write; which I only use this drive for Storage of my Games on STEAM and Uplay. The load times have been greatly reduced to mere seconds instead of the anticipated waiting times using even an Enterprise Class HD or Pro Sata SSD!The only thing you need to know is; if you order this add in card, you will need to also order a tube of Thermal Paste that is used on CPUs and Heat-sinks. The "Rubberized like" material that comes in this kit with this add in card doesn't do anything about drawing the heat away from your SSD even with the internal fan on.I had to go to a local computer store and purchase a tube of Arctic Silver Compound because I thought this kit already had the necessary components in it; but after installing everything and quickly finding out my temps were excessively high and the SSD began throttling back and then stopped responding, it didn't take me long to figure out that the heat-sink needed thermal paste and the "Rubberized like material" in the kit wasn't cutting it.Once I removed and threw away the "Rubberized like Material" I added a "LIGHT THIN COAT" of Arctic Silver Compound to the back of the heat-sink and gently centered and pressed the heat-sink onto the SSD, reassembled the add in card, put it back into my PC; I was fully operational and the temps stay below 82 degrees Fahrenheit.I am a happy customer !!!!

Don't waste your money (Mac Pro 2010)
This product does not cool the M.2 NVMe card under 100 degree. The turbo fan speed is less than 100rpm not enough to cool the card. The heat-sink is a robber that will not draw the heat from the SSD card. I remove the heat-sink robber and get the same result, added thermal compound still getting same result (I believe adding thermal compound to the SSD Card will avoid the warranty but who care the longer don't damage the card). Running black magic, Final Cut Pro, or even watching youtube, temperature will rise up to 130 degree the SSD card will start acting up. I get the same speed with a $13.00 PCIe adapter. On a Mac Pro will be really close to your video card. The minimum temperature I see go down is 104.The fix for the temperature I found was:1. Add a thermal pad under the SSD Card.2. Add Thermal compound small drop and spray it a little bit.3. Keep the Rubber peaceAfter I did this the temperature was constantly 95 degree the maximal I saw was 105 degree the minimal was 88 degree, that's much better then 130 degree every time I have to move files around. Can I recommend this adapter. I will not purchase another one, but you might get a deferent result is up to you to purchase this adapter.

Great and fast PCIe M2 SSD card but no instruction manual anywhere
Assembling it on trial basis since there was no manual to do it anywhere not even on the website of the seller. Also the case slot did not fit to fix the PCIe card but since it is for a desktop it is not going to be moving around. The M2 NVME and SATA run fast and cool

Very good read write speeds could’ve had a better set of instructions on whether you can run all three cards on the board or if you could only run one card at a time
