Great Gift!
I had this item on a gift list for a passionate trombonist in my life for over a year, mainly due to the price and because I didn't read the full product description and I was just saving kitchy trombone themed gifts. I finally gifted it this Christmas, and it was a hit! It seems very well made, and was packaged very carefully and included a sincere message of thanks. It works just as expected, and the slide even changed the tone.

Much-loved toy for a five year old grandson!
Four stars because the price seems a bit high. Our 5 year old grandson LOVES this Kazoo and has played with it constantly since he got it two days ago.

Fantastic kazoo!
This was purchased as a gift for my Mom. She and her late brother had trombone kazoos as children that they bought at the circus during a family trip in the 40's, and she's shared with me so many times how much fun they had. I gave this to her as a Christmas gift, and once she remembered how to play the kazoo (humming into it instead of blowing), she was so excited and all those happy memories spent with her brother just flooded back to her again. She loved it and will enjoy it often. It is really quite big, about 12" long, I would guess, and the box it comes in is very sturdy and printed impressively. Have a senior in your life who enjoyed playing a kazoo as a child? Consider this as a gift! :)

Disappointed and not acceptable for children.
Such a shame the kazoo has a great sound- loud, easy to use, I’d say it definitely sounds better than the typical kazoo found in a children’s party gift bag. But it’s horribly made and not worth the price it’s a metal that nearly feels like plastic and the slider is attached by glue. It was broken in two places when it got here and is hanging on by a thread. I would say this isn’t suitable for small children. It’s such a fun noise but it’s so close to falling apart and it came dirty and scuffed up I would not feel confident giving it as a gift that’s for sure. I need it for a comedy bit and even I feel swindled for what it is, if I was a parent I would feel like I had to throw it out and would feel horrible if my child saw it and wanted it. Nothing looks choke-able so if that happened I’d give it to them and I guarantee it would break in the first 5 minutes and end in tears. Save yourself the trouble this one is particularly adorable for the metal color but I would buy a different horn model not worth it. The metal is pealing up on the side slide bar falling off and the bronze paint is faded and chipped in different spots.

Breaks easily if dropped even short distances
My 3 year old loves this and was begging for a trombone for months before I found it. Every time he drops it accidentally it breaks and I have to super glue it back together. That being said he still adores it and it works fine once glued back together.

Good “bang for the buck”!
My 14-year-old son has been playing a regular trombone for two years now. He was eager to get this with his first ever paycheck. It did not disappoint. He has been playing it all over the place for a couple of hours now and is very pleased. I warned his best friend’s mom that she was welcome to tell him to stop when he came over there with it! He really likes how the slide actually moves although it will need to be greased a little bit. It is attractive and he can actually play tunes on it. Definitely worth the money!

Great gift, which is why I bought it
It's not as heavy-duty as I wish, the metal is thin. The slide does not alter the sound, clearly indicated in sales information. It's really different. It's a cool novelty. In this case, it was given as a gift to a professional musician who plays the kazoo and steel drums and is part of a band. She loved it and is going to use it in their act because of its novelty. It's still a kazoo, just dressed differently. Oh, yes it has good sound.
