Very strong magnet...needs strong line!!
I got this magnet to fish. It’s very strong. If it hits flat on something and you can’t get to it to PRY it off...kiss it good byeYou can put a cage on it . Basically some stainless bars I made up so it doesn’t “hit” flat.Make sure you have a strong line or cable to winch it off or tow it with ur truck....Hopefully the magnet doesn’t come flying out at you...be careful!The shipping and delivery were great!I still worry about losing it

Awesome Magnet!
This thing is a beast! it is a large and well made magnet with awesome strength. I have not attempted fishing with it yet (shopping for a capable rope to guaranteed to be strong enough) but have played around with it enough to know that it will definitely work well. The shipping was a day faster than I thought it would be and the quality and finish are excellent. Can't wait to find my first treasure.

I wouldn’t recommend
This is in no way 1222 lbs . It’s barley 50 lbs power . I have smaller ones that are 100 lbs and I can hardly pull them ! This is no good

The largest magnet I have purchased
This is the real deal. It’s large and heavy. You will want a very strong rope.I know you should only use this in still water because of its large surface area. Having lost a few of these in a boat they can find a lot of stuff. In current they can wrap around rebar, logs, ETC

Great strong magnet and rope only thing I dont like is it doest have a side anchor to attach a rope so it doesnt drag flat if your casting from a bank works best from boat or elevated position

Fun times Magnet Fishing
My husband asked for two magnets this Christmas to go magnet fishing. I bought a set of two and some nylon cord off of amazon. We went to the Bosque dropped the magnets in the Rio Grande River and caught lots of fish hooks. We had so much fun. Super strong magnet.
