Andar - The Pilot

If you’re looking for a slim/modern wallet with a lot of functionality this is the one for you. I’ve owned other brands with similar designs, but his Andar wallet is hands down the best. The center pocket easily holds 5 cards and the lever well built and easy to use. The strap is study and great for cash or additional cards, depending on your needs. In addition, the front pocket is perfect to hold your ID. To top it all off, this wallet looks great. I constantly find myself being complimented on how cool it looks. I fully recommend.

Alright I'll get real with everyone. I saw this on unboxed therapy and impulsively bought this wallet. Did I need it? No not really. Did I really want it? Kind of. Anyways this wallet does work well for its purposes. It fits 5 cards, has a pocket for an ID and a cash clip/holder/band. It does have a small profile, but it was not as slim as I would have liked it. Even though you'll get screams of admiration every time you pull the lever to unsheathe your manly, over used credit cards, there are some flaws. I am about 4 months into using mine and there is no noticeable wear and tear on the outer leather pouch. However, the bottom lever mechanism seems to push away from the main metal casing of the wallet from the regular motion of pushing the cards back in. It has presented no problems, but I am sure I'll soon encounter them. It seems the glue that holds the leather to the metal is not as strong. There has been a couple of times where I would have to push the metal part back into its leather pouch.One of my biggest complaints is that it will fit and hold 5 plastic cards really well. Unfortunately they did not account for metal cards at all. I have one metal card that will just slip right out if you're not careful. Something that I am aware of and kind of can live with, but if you have an unaware girlfriend that likes to think your wallet is hers, it is very likely that you will lose a card. If you only have one 1000 dollar bill on you, like I often do, the cash band will not securely hold it securely. You can just put the metal card in the front leather pouch, even though it is a hassle to take out and it won't be in the RFID protector.I probably won't switch anytime soon because my need for fanfare of people, but overall it is a decent wallet.

Just the size I was looking for. I wanted a wallet that could hold the few cards I need and just a bit of cash, but be small enough to go in my front pocket. This wallet does just that Good quality leather and excellent stitching. I am able to hold 5 cards in the main compartment, these are a mix of flat cards to cards that have raised numbers. The cards are fanned out perfectly every time when i work the release mechanism. The outside slot is great for cards that do not need to be RFID protected. This slot also holds the few bills I carry very securely. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a well made, minimalistic wallet. I would purchase again with no hesitation.

This is the 2nd Andar wallet I've owned and both have been exceptional quality. My first wallet I used as my daily carry for a year and it still is in great shape. This wallet carries fewer cards than the other, but has a cool flip out feature on the bottom that makes accessing your cards super easy. If you want a slim wallet that is rugged and unique this is a great wallet to own! I carry this is my front pockets without issue or bulk. I can't stand putting a wallet in my rear pockets.

Great wallet for holding cards. It is fun to use and very satisfying to slide the cards in and out. However... The cash holder is awkward, and it tends to stretch out, leaving your valuable bills vulnerable to falling out if you are not carrying stacks of money with you. Don't even think about carrying a single bill in here because it will fall out. Also, you need to fold your bills twice for them to not stick out of the sides of the wallet and get all frayed on the edges. The card holding is also sketchy too sometimes. Do not be expressive with this wallet in your hand, because the cards will fall out.

Here is my experience opening this product. I see the simple brown box and think, that is a neat simple packaging. Open it up and there is a slick little pouch, that is a nice touch. A lot of attention to detail looks like a fine product. I take out the wallet. WOW. Sturdy heavy feel to it. Smooth high quality leather, beautiful stitches, this is a fine product! I try the strap on the front, I slide in a card and some cash, it has a tight snug fit, perfect. I try the card release mechanism, it has a quality mechanical feel and sound to it i love it! I look at the large gap to put cards in and think no way one card will fit without falling out. I slide one in and try shaking it out, it doesn't come out! Then I pull the lever to retrieve my card and it does not come out like it is supposed to! I try a few more times until it comes out enough to reach in and take my card out.I then proceed to immediately repackage everything and print a shipping label to return it.This is a pretty product but does not function as intended so it is useless. Horrible design!

Was very excited to get this product but wanted to wait for the review to see if it held up to daily use and abuse... I was sceptical but am a believer in the longevity of this wallet. I've bone everything from playing with the button in different angles and very often throughout the day pressing the cards in while trying to push them out but was mindful not to damage the internal I would call them teeth that extract the cards and it has worked flawlessly. The felt strips that hold the cards in I could see failing sooner than anything else do to the cards being pushed out manually vice spring loaded which is a huge plus. It holds my cards securely in place unless I'm frantically shaking the wallet to try to have them fall out can hold 1-6 cards easily and no issues with the embossed ones either. If you're cards are already beat up it may catch the coating on them but no real damage even to the mag strips. Excellent product
