Beadsmith Vintaj 8 Ounce Ball Pien Hammer, 11"

I bought this hammer to straighten out copper pipe ends. Works great for that but occasionally I miss and the head hasn't held up well to hitting harder materials. Loose heads easy to fix with a few taps from another hammer. Does the job and for the price it gets an extra star.

If I had a little hammer I'd hammer a little in the morning and hopefully it won't wake the neighbors. Anyhow, it's the cheapest 8oz ball peen hammer on the interwebz. Hopefully the head won't come flying off.

These hammers are really sturdy and hold up even when outside all the time.I would definitely recommend them.

I received it in 2 days, but the quality was bad. I had to machine it, to even it out then put another radius on the bullpen end. I guess you get what you pay for.

It works for what I need it for-metal handstamping. My only concern is that at the top of the hammer (above the metal head), the wood looks like it's splitting. Hopefully it will hold up.

I purchsed 6.Don't expect to use these unless you have another hammer and punch to tighten the heads on the handle.Head is ok, not hardened, handles can have knots and may not fill the socket in the head completely.I bought these to modify the heads for stamping texture. So for me cheap price and cheap build were fine.If you are going to hit stamps or punches, I would look else where.

The ends of the hammer were rough. Just take some sandpaper and polish it up. Besides that the hammer is built well.

The hammer is just perfect for jewelry making. Great weight.
