I have two of these - one for my 8 year old daughter who has run I think three 5ks, and also has some age group medals (in the super competitive female 1-8 category) so she has around 6 medals overall and one for my 5 year old son who walked his first 5k and on the drive home asked why he didn't have a medal display like his sister. Whoops, a really good dad would have ordered that already.The one foot wide one is perfect - a big one would look kind of bare, and eventually I'd rather they just displayed their favorites rather than everything they've ever gotten, but if you already have a ton of cool medals and have the space obviously you would want to go larger.Easy to install, looks good, well built. I like the message on this one in particular. The edges are a little sharp, however they're cut they don't then smooth them back out, so just be a little careful installing it. It's not like I got cut or anything, but it's not a play toy, you know?

This is my third medal holder from Allied Medals. It is beautiful, and I love the look of it. Nice thick metal which is very sturdy (no bend to it) and really pops against the wall (particularly if your wall is a bright color!) Takes about 5 minutes to install, I think it's best to make sure at least one of your screws is in a stud. It will sit out a bit from the wall to give you room to slide the medals on and off easier. Very happy with it and I know it will last forever. It is more expensive than many of the options out there but ultimately sometimes you get what you pay for.

I accidentally bought the wrong size so I was little disappointed when it arrived but that was my mistake. The 18" will hold about 12 ribbons so it will fill up fairly quickly. I recommend you go for the wider one or one with the double/triple rows. Besides my mistake of ordering the smaller one I think it looks great! Made well and easy to hang!*yes I realize I could have returned it and gotten a wider one but I didn't want to go through the hassle.

I like the style and wording, unfortunately in the shipping the item became bent which means that it doesn't hang flush on the wall, so I do not use it. Unfortunately, by the time I got around to trying to get decent pictures and return or deal with the issue, it was past the deadline to do anything about it. Despite not actually using it, I did rate this at 3-stars because despite being packed in an Amazon box with those air bags in with it, it was still able to get bent. Which makes me concerned about the material it is made of...

I liked how simple this was, but still inspirational. It looks great hung on the wall, and looks like there will be room for at least 20 medals.

Bought this as a Father's Day gift for my father in law. This product is quality made and looks excellent with the medals hanging. I was worried that because the price it wouldn't be good sturdy metal and would be flimsy but it's the opposite. Doesn't bend at all and looks very expensive
