I bought this for my two young cousins, both boys. I wanted them to know the books of the bible and those who made a difference in the bible. It's a great read, and I feel that it sticks to the facts, no added secular filler. A good way to introduce kids to the bible who don't have a current experience with a Bible, church or with Bible history etc. I also enjoyed reading through it before giving it to them.
