In Conversation with God: Meditations for Each Day of the Year, Vol. 3: Ordinary Time, Weeks 1-12

I bought the whole set individually and used b/c it was cheaper than buying it as a set. All the books arrived in excellent condition and I’m enjoying them. They’re based on daily Catholic mass readings and quotes of the Saints.

These are the best meditations for every day of the year. I have tried others but I always come back to these seven volumes. They follow the Mass readings and always illuminate some point that the reader can take to prayer. I have used these for years, and they are ever new.

Beautiful meditations...draws me closer to God every time I read it. Very inspiring and thought provoking.

This book is one of a set of seven that follows the liturgical year with meditations on the liturgy of each day. It will inspire the reader with spiritual instruction that is orthodox and intelligent and practical, stressing improving one's character through daily work and family life.

These are not 5 minute reflections so you need to put a bit of time to one side and read in a prayerful way.

Apart from rating the book highly the service from the Holy Cross Bookshop was fast, personal and helpful. The reflections on each days Mass readings are all geared to improve the Christian life and are full of appropriate quotations from notable books and authors.
