The service was extremely fast and I was more than pleased with the book. Just what I wanted.

Just so you know ....
.... I think this a wonderful series, but people coming to it new should understand a few things.Firstly, I'm a Catholic and have used these books for about twenty years. There are meditations for each day of the year (three each for Sunday years A, B & C), as well as volumes for Advent & Christmastide, Lent and Eastertide and feasts of the Church.Second, they are written by a priest of the Opus Dei prelature, so that means what you're going to get is a pretty conservative take on the Catholic faith and how to live it. It uses language which some catholics may not quite get (from how many pulpits do you hear warnings about concupiscence of the flesh?). That being said, the meditations rely heavily on the Church's liturgy and the Church Father (albeit with an emphasis on St Augustine, St Thomas Aquinas and Pope John Paul II, who was Pope at the time they were written).Third, all that that being said, if you are not a priest or religious, and want help on living your faith in the world of work, these are really helpful titles. You may not agree with everything that's said, but but you will find nuggest of spiritual gold to meditate on in the course of your day.

Best seasonal devotional for Eastertide
I like that this devotional covers the whole liturgical season. Some days the meditation is long but as always thought provoking and thorough. Scripture based so much so that I think other christian denominations would get a good reading out of it as well. The cover is a funky vinyl with a glossy paper jacket. Pages are of substantial/quality weight (not tissue thin!) . I love the 'prayer book' size as it is easy to hold, easy to pack so there is no reason not to take it with you to read on the Go. Comes with a skinny little satin 'ribbon' bookmark that is sewn into the spine to help you keep your place.

Change Your Life!
These books seem to me to be Divinely inspired. Fr. Fernandez covers every type of situation one could encounter in life. If you have ever said that you don't see how many readings in the Bible actually apply to your life here and now - these books will change your mind. Fr. Fernandez takes the timeless Gospel and brings it right into your living room and your life. It makes the Bible so applicable to our daily lives in a way that is at times a bit spooky. I have heard that God speaks to us through the written word. Here is the proof. The Holy Spirit is really at work on a daily basis in our lives. The timing of the messages has actually left me looking around the room for someone who is standing over my shoulder and reading my mind! I was given the entire set as a gift and I am on my third time through them. The daily readings in these books follow the 3 year cycle the Catholic Church uses in her liturgy. If you follow the readings per instruction you will make it through one complete cycle in 1 year. If you follow all three cycles Year A, Year B and Year C you will be reading the set for 3 years. Every year I find myself underlining something I had not seen before. The way it has worked has really firmed up my somewhat shakey faith in God's involvement in my life every single day. I now continue buying the books as gifts for others and they come to be amazed as I have been.

Good book for Catholic meditation
Based on daily mass readings and quotes from Saints. I bought the whole set individually (used) and saved a lot of money. Books were in great shape.
