Does the job!
It delivers the sounds! Just great played through a clean Fender Deluxe and super throathy via my 100 Watt Marshall Head!

Inexpensive
During the pandemic I may have watched all the product reviews for guitar related items. Then I found this niche area of inexpensive guitar pedals that sounded great. After watching quite a few videos this pedal came up being recommended for bedroom players like me. I saw that the expected receipt time was 2 months from when I ordered it so initially I wasn’t concerned. The seller had a tracking number available with8n a week, however the weeks went by and there were no updates. So I reached out to he seller and no reply. So I thought I had been scammed. So I set a reminder in my calendar to request a refund the week after the 2 month shipping timeframe was up. 4 days shy of 2 months the package showed up. So my skepticism was not warranted, but if you are expecting to get this in a week or 2 look somewhere else. The pedal plays nice with very little hum (most likely my setup) with these inexpensive pedals to choose from it makes me feel like a WAY better player than I am!

It's not a Klon, but you already know that
If you are considering buying this, you probably know what a Klon Centaur is, but I don't want to spend nearly that kind of money. I can't comment on whether this sounds like the real thing, but what I can say is that it is a very nice overdrive-- very touch sensitive and dynamic. The enclosure, like most of the mini pedals that I've seen lately, is pretty robust and pretty nice, the Centaur motif painted on the face of the device is nicely rendered, and the switch and pots all seem adequate. If you want a good sounding overdrive in a compact size, this is worth the price, in my opinion.

Mosky Golden Horse delivers
I've heard about Klon Centaurs for a while, of course, but I've never played through one, so I can't comment on how like or unlike this pedal is to the original. What I can say is that it is a really smooth, rich overdrive. It doesn't just push your amp, but somehow smooths the sound out, too, while still giving you some very nice breakup. I'm running mine through my Peavey Delta Blues, and I have to say the Golden Horse makes that 15" speaker sound really sweet. The box is also sturdy, and it's such a tiny form factor for how much it does. I'm very pleased with this; it's the best-sounding overdrive I have right now, edging out my Angry Driver that cost a, ah, good bit more.

Bang for buck.
I own 3 Klones, they all sound pretty great. This is the least great of the 3, but one was built from a kit that costs twice as much (plus the time taken to assemble it), and one was 2nd hand for more than 3x the price of this one. For price and portability, this pedal is very much a worthwhile investment. I plan to take it with me just about everywhere, so I can leave my fancy ones at home, but still have desirable tone on the road.

Klone clone
An ok klone clone, I use it more as a boost to other overdrive pedals

Nice Little Pedal
I've never used a genuine Klon, so I can't compare directly. But this thing sounds darn good and I can get tones that (to my ears) sound like recordings from artists who WERE using genuine Klons. Seems sturdy and well built. For the price, this is an awesome pedal.

Consider Me Impressed
Didn't know what to expect with this little pedal, but boy oh boy. I'm not a tone geek, by any means. But I wanted a boost with the group I'm playing with for when I play leads. I tend to run this a bit like a tube screamer with the output level high and the gain lower, and back the treble off, and with position 4 on a strat i'm getting the most buttery smooth overdrive i've ever had. its kind of wild... lots of sustain without harsh buzzing. when people call these clones "transparent" I kind of get what they mean. gives some compression and overdrive but also very responsive to picking and the volume knob. A buddy let me borrow his Nux Horseman to compare this to, but I'd say for the money this is unbeatable.
