FANTASTIC BOOK. VERY DETAILED. MANY PICTURES AND DESCRIOTIONS.

This is a wonderful book. The picture are indeed exceptional. I disagree with the review that we will not see most of these salts in everyday life.I have seen many of these and own some. Of course there are some we will never see but it is nice to see what has been made in the past. This book is made for every one to enjoy and use every day.

I am new to salt collecting and this book is a wonderful, informative and colorful guide. I am still learning about salts and refer to this book often. I love all the pictures and prices. Good for both new and seasoned collectors.

This is probably the most thoroughly detailed collector's guide available. It is in full color with accurate descriptions, and it includes a suggested price guideline for each salt.

This is the second purchase of books on salt cellars that I have made from Amazon. Unlike the earlier purchase, this is a large sized hardback that features pictures and descriptions primarily of colored salts. The pictures are extremely well done and helpful - should you locate any of the salts that are included in it. This is a useful addition to a reference collection about salt cellars.

Not only is this a very informative reference book, it's full of gorgeous photographs. I am both entertained and "schooled" every time I page through it. I can get lost for hours in this book.

I think this is one of the best books for learning od Salts an or collectors. Arrive quickly.
