The Handbook of Logistics and Distribution Management

Was looking for a professional reference book for the office. This seemed to be a good option, though was disappointed once it actually arrived.The book certainly covers all the key areas that you would come across in most day to day situations however lacks any depth. From a working professionals perspective, unless you are moving in to a new role or looking to expand your general knowledge I would avoid. You may need to buy 2-3 separate books but at least you would have reference books that are of use and of value.My impression is that this book is very much aimed at students studying logistics. In this case the book is an excellent overview of a very broad subject matter.
