I have made probably more than 100 cables in the past 10 years for home projects and because my cable runs need to be as precise as possible for aesthetic purposes. These are the easiest end connectors I have ever used by a LONG stretch. You really should get the crimper also but they can be closed by hand with a sturdy surface to push on. I have used these and the female keystones and the tool-less option is fantastic, especially when you are finishing the run behind a TV or thru a wall. If you have ever had to crimp a ending with the old tool based system you will be very happy. Also, if you DON'T get a good connection or accidentally need a longer run, just cut a new cable length and you can reuse them. I couldn't be happier!

Purchased a set of these as well as some cheaper ones. I bought the cheaper ones because of cost as these are quite expensive. Running true CAT8 cable is rather challenging. The cable is stiff, thick, and terminating it is troublesome. These terminators are extremely easy to use. Tools required to make it the most simple: -Small pair of sharp snips -Pair of pliers -Cable jacket stripper That's all you need. Terminating has never been so easy. The cheaper ones I tried, I could never even get the wire into the right channels before crimping. With these, absolutely no problem. Highly recommended. I just wish the price would come down (~$10 each one).

Making the cables up is pretty straightforward. I have tried many other connectors and have found that this is the best. My previous review talked about the cables failing. But after many other connectors being tried, I discovered that the cause of the failures was a broken conductor within a brand new roll of cat 8 wire. So I apologize for my assumption that the failure was due to this connector. Believe me when I say that the competitor connectors are much harder to make. And I have found that this is the best one available.

Finally something to fit my 22awg cat8. It's tight but does fit and work. Expensive, but come to find out it's hard to just buy rj45 cat8 make terminals. These are certified too. Time will tell if the PCB holds up. But finally a good product that fits what the description says.

Quality of the copper tape - very poor see the package. It did not meet the quality description provided.

This ends are outstanding. Very clean and professional looking installing. I used these in a manufacturing environment. I have been installing low voltage and networking cable for 30 years and these ends are quick and easy to install. Other subcontractors on the job always comment how clean and professional looks. Certification test indicating quality product.

I have a degree in Mechanical & Electrical engineering, so even though I've never made my own network cables before, I felt up to the challenge of running new CAT-8 network lines from scratch. LinkUp provides good instructions with a video available on Youtube and the wire termination block within the plug is color coded, making it fairly easy. I completed a total of 4 runs (8 RJ45 plugs) with 100% success on the first try. These LinkUp RJ45 plugs are heavy duty, and as you can see from the photo, they require about 3" of clearance behind the ports in order to plug it in. The CAT-8 cables are also beefy and can be difficult to pull through tight places. If you're going to be doing several runs, I highly recommend the LinkUP Easy Press Jack Tool (unless you have an iron grip); this tool makes seating the wires much easier.

Fabulous terminators. Accidentally bought more heavy duty Ethernet cable than intended (solid copper, AWG 23 cat 6), so the usual RJ45 connectors wouldn't work. These are a dream to fit and completely bomb proof.

Excellent quality and service from Linkup. I was unsure whether the price was worth it but given the time saved terminating and the consistency of transfer speed and quality I wouldn’t use anything else again.
