Great for dry eyes
I use these in the morning when my eyes are dry. It almost feels like a protective lubricant on your eye. It helps them quickly moisten up

Longlasting relief from dryness
These are the best drops I have used, and I've tried several different brands. The Refresh Advanced formula was recommended by my optometrist a few years ago, and I have since learned why. They provide the best relief and are the longest acting of all brands I have tried. I won't be switching brands any more.

My Blepheritis Treatment Protocol
You may have left your Opthamologist office with instructions to use a warm compress over your eyes twice a day (for me 2-5 minutes).I wrap standard microwavable Gel Packs in a wringed out moistened washcloth. I heat these gel packs for a total of 50 seconds. Your microwave time may vary slightly - the point is to make sure it's not too hot. We're talking warm - not hot compresses. Be careful. As a sufferer of untreated blepheritis for 15 years - I can safely say I am finally getting some reasonable relief from the following protocol.1) Thoroughly rinse eyes with warm water2) Clean Lids and Lashes with a side to side motion using a round cotton cosmetic pad using a solution of a Hypochlorous Acid Spray. I now use"SkinSmart Antimicrobial Facial Cleanser Spray" - as it is much cheaper than the 2oz versions of Hypochlorous Acid sold specificially for the eyes. Use it to clean your eye lids and eyelashes (don't spray it into your eyes).3) Apply warm compress for 5 minutes4) Supplement with a lubricating eye drop as needed (I chose Refresh Optive Advanced)5) Start supplements of Omega 3 Fish Oils to improve the quality of your own tears (I chose NOW Supplements, Tri-3D Omega™, Triglyceride Form of Omega-3 Fish Oil + Vitamin D-3)6) Nightime application of a Prescription Ointment (Erythromycin Opthalmic Ointment 0.5%) - Described to me as a prophylactic preventative treatment.7) For Acute Inflammation and Flare-ups my Doctor also supplies two week treaments using a prescription anti-inflammatory eyedrop called LOTEMAX SM.7/24/22 Update: Upon withdrawal of the LOTEMAX - my excessive tearing resumed. Because one just can't continue to be on ocular steroids due to the risks of increased Interlocular Pressure and cataracts (as well as other bad side affects) - I had to find some other way at reducing my eye inflammation. My particular condition must have had some link to indoor allergens (although can't figure out which ones). Started using "Pataday Once Daily Relief Extra Strength Relief drops" - a strong Antihistamine eye drop with some additional relief noted. Last Update, Finding better success with "Medcosa Large Flexible Sport Ice Pack" - seem to last longer and leak less often than others.
