Cannot wait to use these this Christmas! I am so impressed by the high quality of the kit! It also came with a great book with really handy tips.

I am bringing the elf on the shelf to work, acting like an adventure calendar with daily prizes. This activity pack is brilliant and gives some ideas how to make December with the elf more fun.

I waited until this was on offer and got with an over 25% reduction in price. Still a little over-priced in my opinion, just as the rest of the official Elf on the Shelf things are. Certainly not worth paying full price for it. The little tools are well-made and will save time and effort setting up Elf on the Shelf antics. Some of the ideas in the book are a bit same-y, so not quite as many different ideas as it claims. The chair arrives in pieces and although very easy instruction-wise to put together, required more force than I was expecting, with the pieces bending more than I liked. After a worrying few moments and sore fingers, it was put together without incident, but is not made to be taken apart, so cannot be stored in the box after assembly. The peppermint grappler was similarly very stiff to put together. Overall I'm glad I got this as it all adds to the magic.

So the elves are on more adventures. these props are great for inspiring ideas. i was worried when putting the chair together as i had to push really hard to get the piece to lock into place, but the parts are really sturdy. i had some issues getting his feet into the boots, i ended up rolling his foot up and shoving it in, but once in it was perfect. I'm having so much fun trying to think of ways to use the tools, and if you can't think of any, the book is full of great ideas.

So I bought this in desperation for help with last Christmas’ Elf on the Shelf.. It’s OK. The props are well thought through and look good, however, the boots with the little suckers on the bottom did not stick anywhere!! I definitely didn’t chance leaving them all night long or else we’d have woken up to a dead Elf ☹️ The ideas book was again OK, but you can google ‘elf ideas,’ so I found the whole thing a little pricey to be honest. I ended up using the chair quite a bit along with the string, the other items, not so much.

I ended up gifting it so not sure if it was really as fun as it looked but I am planning to order one again this year for my kids so will update my review in case it isn’t 🤗
