ArtBin 17 inch 8017AB Quick View Carrying Case, Portable Art & Craft Organizer with Handle, 1 Plastic Storage Case - 17" Standard Base Open Core

After quite a bit of research, I settled on this ArtBin Quickview Case 15" with divided base and lift out tray and I am so happy that I did. It was important to me that in addition to having space for my beads and dividers to separate the larger bead storage areas into smaller ones, that it have a permanent place for my sticky bead mat (which is 8.75 x 12') or my regular bead board. As you can tell from my photos, either fits perfectly into the tray area, so I can store my work in progress out of the way in a safe and secure manner without worrying about it getting spilled on to the floor. The interior dimensions of the case itself are about 14" x 11.5". There is another half inch on either side of the handle indentation. The bottom of the case where the dividers are is about 1.75 inches deep. The top of the case is about a half inch deep. The interior dimensions of the lift out tray are pretty much the same, about 14" x 11.5" with another half inch around the handle. Overall it may be a quarter of an inch smaller than the case itself. The tray is 1.25 inches deep. It is sturdy and locks tight and will work perfectly for my crafting needs. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a good way to secure their crafting or art supplies. It is well worth the price.

OK five stars because there are a lot of great things about it. It’s roomy. It’s plastic but rather sturdy plastic. You could lock it up. It’s got little feet on the bottom to help it sit up. The dimensions though are not what I thought. The way it’s designed where the handle part dips into the carrying space does not fit a standard size notebook. I bought it to put my coloring books in for adult coloring. They don’t fit flat. So for that, I’m quite disappointed because that’s why I bought it. For someone looking to fit standard size paper in like I was, there are other designs where the handle does not dip into the Inner space. Bad design imo. I’ve ordered a different one for paper. I will put my coloring utensils in this one. I’m disappointed because it’s not for the use I wanted, but as a product itself, it’s not a bad product.

As I don't have room for paint racks was looking for something to easily store and carry 10ml and 23ml Tamiya and other brand large modeling paint bottles. Have similar cases (at a substantially higher cost) which have a foam insert tailored to 17ml bottles and the Testors .25 oz square bottles. While these are great they don't help for the 10ml and 23ml glass bottles such as those made by Tamiya. There is no foam insert but the case works fine for storage and transportation of the larger diameter paint bottles from one workspace to another, which, unfortunately, is how I do it for now. The 12 inch case stores approximately 30 bottles while the 14 inch cast stores approximately 40 bottles. These counts reflect Tamiya 10ml and 23ml bottles. Very well made, durable, and store easily; these will last forever for my purpose.

Great if you want a bin for general art stuff. Seemed solid and well made. Be careful if you are looking to fit in a specific piece of equipment. Measurements are not really accurate, lots of space taken by random lips, inward slanting sides.

I use this to carry my art supplies for a few of my classes. It works great and is easy to carry.

My first one arrived broken, due to being shipped in a huge box with only a crumpled paper for padding, and only on one side. It was literally sliding around in the box, so I wasn't surprised to see the corner smashed in. I returned it and tried to find one in a local store, but after trying Michael's, Jo-Ann, and a local independent place, I gave up and ordered another one on Amazon. It came just as inadequately packed, but this one amazingly wasn't dropped along the way, and arrived undamaged! It holds as many embroidery floss bobbins loosely and with room to spare as I had been able to jam into one of the cheap floss organizers you can get for under $10 at any craft store, plus it also has compartments in the front and back of the bottom for needles and scissors, and a nice big lift-out tray for your project and patterns. I like that it closes securely, is better made than the floss organizer I had, on which the hinges were always popping out and broke within a year, and I like that it holds more, and that it has a handle. I only wish Amazon didn't send them out in such a risky way, I honestly am amazed the second one didn't break like the first, and I think they must be ruining a lot of them and causing a lot of delay and waste. I recommend you only buy this if you have Amazon Prime and know you'll be able to send it back without paying for shipping twice.

I got this case to store my washi tape, stickers, pens, tape, markers, scissors, etc. Things I use for cards, journals, my planner, mixed media art, stuff like that. It's really the exact perfect size. The cases for my pens fit right in and don't flop around and it creates a good base for keeping other stuff like washi tape in place. It's thick enough that you can put a lot of stuff in it. I haven't even filled mine yet. And since I usually use these items together when making a project, it's great to be able to just grab this case and bring it to my work area rather than picking stuff out of my craft drawers that I've used in the past. It's surprisingly inexpensive for how great it is. I got the 14 inch which is perfect for these kinds of writing supplies but I might get another 17 inch one to store some bigger things in. The case locks well, so there's no worry about it spilling all over the place. Honestly, this is the perfect kind of art storage case I've been looking for for years, and I can't believe it was under ten dollars. If you're looking for a way to keep art supplies organized, you must get this. Highly recommended!

Great little case in case you need a little case. I got it to store an endoscope and may buy more to store other tools.

Total false advertising regarding this product. The dividers are not included. Ordered this product and just received the case. Logged a complaint, returned item and requested a replacement. Was sent the same item (just the case) with no dividers.

Fantastic storage for art supplies, I own multiple of these storage boxes, works Great. They have the ability to be locked which is really nice when you have people who like to take art supplies, also you will never have your art supplies or paint explode all over again. Highly recommend, the company itself self great quality.

I bought this to store Carcassonne and all its additions/expansions; it came recommended on The Board Game Geek. The quality is great. Feels sturdy and definitely not cheap. The latches are easy to open, but won't open by themselves. They would even allow for a padlock of some sorts. The handle feels good when carrying (though there is not that much weight in mine). The tray is helpful to store items that won't fit (or are too bulky) and is stable enough as long as there isn't anything in it that is too heavy. It will allow you to store almost everything while keeping it all in place. It also comes with a number of dividers, though when they are in place it is very difficult to slide them out, a bit too hard for my taste. The dividers can only be fixed in certain (every 4 inches / 10 cm) places, which does not give a lot of flexibility when storing smaller expansions for Carcassonne. Though the fact that the dividers are it so fixed in place also means that they won't fall out immediately. Very practical when you put stuff in (as I) that does not require a lot of changing about and will sit there for years.

I really love this case !! The size is phenomenal as it fits my art pads , clipboard etc all in just the top portion! Then the bottom has tons of space in sizes you chose with the dividers that come with , fits your coloured pencils , watercolour tubes or art pencils for sketching . Closes very securely and nice handle to carry it with so I'm at a loss for saying negative because for me it's perfect . Thanks
