After my first experience with TigerShark sandpaper and was immediately hooked! The issues I’ve had in the past with uneven wear from other brands is no longer an issue. In my experience these guys will last twice as long as some of the other popular brands. When refinishing and removing old material, I’ve seen a major improvement on how they cut through material without getting all gunked-up! What I found very impressive is how the finer grits hold their abrasiveness to give a glassy smooth finish that I had been unable to achieve with other popular brands. Fortunately they are now offering detail sizes and rumor is now full sheets. If you haven’t tried TigerShark I can’t see how you’d be disappointed👍🏻.

Using a 6" random orbit sander can generate quite a bit of heat. I use mine in 1/4" stroke mode quite a bit and these discs simply don't hold up well under that friction. I find that I have to pull three discs at least on large projects so I can change them out and allow them to cool. It's not so much that they wear out super fast but they get kind of rubbery feeling and lose effectiveness quickly until they've cooled down again. It's hard to explain but, simply put, they aren't efficient to use with stronger sanders. And in case anybody is wondering: 1. My sanders are always connected to dust collection and 2. I allow the weight of the sander to do the work, I don't push down or use pressure force to try to make the task go faster.

These 6 inch discs have been working out great. I have been using them on my Bosch 1250 Rotary / Rotex style sander for a couple weeks now. I went through 4 layers of paint down to bare wood and nothing was stuck on the pad. Very happy with the performance and wear life.So far I have only used the 80 Grit but I do plan on getting some higher grits as well. The paper holds to the backing Velcro well even in an aggressive mode. Ill update my review as a continue to use more TigerShark branded discs in 6 Inch and some 5 Inch 9 hole Festool.

I love these discs. At first I was a little happier to support US manufacturing when I bought some of these and some other grits in Sungold. Unfortunately my 36 & 40 grit sanding discs from Sungold aren’t sticking on any new or used pad and this box of 60 grit is doing more work than both those US made junk boxes. I will be looking for more tiger shark discs. Very happy

I decided to give these a try as I have to pay for shipping from my normal supplier. The alumina-zirconia grain is very long lasting, so I'm very happy with them. Great for a production shop. I'll be buying them again as I run out of other grits.

This sandpaper, by far, out performs the mirka paper in all aspects. I’m comparing it to the mirka brand because it had been the best sandpaper until I used the Tigershark. The Tigershark discs don’t gum up or wear out as fast. They are thicker and heavier. And the price point is pretty much the same. I am super happy with Tigershark and will be buying them from hear on out.

Not the best sandpaper I’ve ever used but it worked fine for the job I was doing. Was marginally better and lasted a little bit longer that some really cheap disks I bought earlier. Probably would not spend the extra money for theses again.
