Very pleased

A very mediocre book written by an amateur. The pictures are quite small and not very informative. Only the text is somewhat interesting. The book contains 40 blank pages, supposedly for the reader to write notes, so 20% of the book is stuffing to make it look bigger. The worst are the 18 pages that are scrambled as can be seen in the attached pictures. You get pages 62,87,64,65,90,91,68,69,94,95,72,73,98,99,76,77,102,79. Later you find p.102 for a second time. I had enough and returned the book for credit.

The book is pretty new，and they are very nice, expedited my order since I need left in few days.

This book is a must for anyone traveling to Turkey or anyone interested in the architecture of the Ottoman Empire.It is written and presented in such an appealing style. The book is composed as if it is Sinan's diary during his years as an architect. The author has not only brought Sinan to life but also the times in which he lived.The book also describes Sinan's most important works, where they are located, their history and how to find them.To personalize the book, the author has framed a space along each site she describes to affix your own photograph.A fascinating read. If you have not traveled to Turkey and seen Sinan's beautiful architecture this will be your inspiration!

We have just returned from 10 days in Istanbul and can say that her walking tours provided us with a focus on many of Sinan's masterpieces in Istanbul and environs. We recommend it highly.
