HUAWEI Universal Nano 128 GB Memory Card

I've been thinking about buying a card for my Huawei p30 pro for a while, but they have always been expensive compared to standard micro SD cards that everything else uses. On a recent holiday though I filled my phone's internal 128GB with videos so decided it was time to take the plunge. This was the cheapest option (used, as new) even compared to AliExpress (where you're never quite sure if the card is legit) and as Huawei are apparently blocking non-huawei cards in updates, I wanted a genuine card. Arrived in 2 days rather than the predicted 5, and was easily installed, then formatted. Works perfectly. Only issue is the p30 pro doesn't allow apps to be moved to the card (unless you make it the default location for everything). But i can set the card as the storage for Readly, Netflix etc no problem, and of course move all my videos across to the card to free up space until I get home. Recommended, and at the time of writing, the best price I could find.

A bit pricey, particularly if you also need the carder reader (which I did). That said, it performs as well as you can expect and it's a lot of extra memory. I pity iphone owners who still have to pay a crazy premium.

Love it. It much faster than any micro SD card. I've owned. And a speed test on A1 SD Benchmark app shows it to be as fast if not fast than the best. It's never going to catch on though. Micro SD is just too cheap and widely used. But never the less I'm happy with it.

The Huawei Nano Memory Card does exactly what it says on the pack, no more, no less. If you've used a micro SD card before, you've used a Huawei NM Card before. There is no difference in functionality between the two. NM cards have the same footprint as a Nano SIM card, only a few millimetres smaller than a micro SD card. My item came with just the card, and did not include any kind of USB adaptor to connect the card directly with a PC. In order to transfer files to the card, you'll need to insert the card into your device and then plug that into your PC. From my testing, 123.7GB out of the 128GB capacity is useable after formatting, and write speed is about on-par with micro SDXC UHS-1 cards. Read speed was calculated at 1.5GB/s, however this was from a sequential file test. Everyday performance may be lower, however the actual difference wouldn't be too noticeable unless you look specifically for it. After writing 40GB of data, all of the content was readable without any issues, confirming that the card appears to be genuine. Personally I use this to make periodic local backups of my device as well as store my video library. It serves its purpose well, and I haven't had any problems yet. All-in-all, this is a pricey, albeit in some cases essential addition to your kit if you're part of the Huawei ecosystem. Size-for-size, NM cards can cost up to three times the price of their equivalent capacity micro SD card, which is the main downside. If you want to expand the storage of a recent Huawei device or want to keep local backups, this is your only option and so you'll have to cough up the price for it. Tested on P30 Pro running EMUI 10.0.0.178, your testing results may vary. Also, not all Huawei devices support NM cards even if they have Nano-SIM slots, so please check your device specifications before purchasing.

Purchased this genuine Huawei 128GB NM card from Amazon, hoping that it was, just as advertised, a GENUINE OEM card of Huawei manufacture and not a crap copy. An online check verified it was genuine. Here's how I did that check with my P30 Pro: On the back of the packaging is a QR code. Scratch off the lower silver portion to reveal a serial number, then use your phone to take a picture of the QR code. Open your browser and go to c-ver.huawei.com and when it opens on the Home Page select 'English' at the top right. Then open Huawei Gallery app, select your QR code picture, select 'More', select 'Scan QR code in image'. Then return to your browser and the NM card information will be displayed. The card is basically plug-and-go, after inserting it and powering up your phone its merely a case of going into Settings > Storage, select Memory Card and then press 'Format'. Done. Interesting to note, on a brand new empty card the capacity shows - Used 10.01 GB / 123.81 GB. As I've only had the card a couple of hours I can't really say much more about it. I'll update this review if anything develops in the future. I ordered it Thursday morning with delivery stated as Monday. Delivered this afternoon, Sunday, so a day early. Not bad considering it came from Madrid.

Genuine huawei card, surprisingly fast. i trasfered 70GB of content from my phone to the card and it was all done in 10 minutes. 10 MINUTES!!! thats quite amazing for 70GB worth of photos, music, videos and large documents. until Sandisk and Kingston release their nano sd cards this is not only the only option, but also the safest.

I bought this Huawei Universal Nano 128 GB Memory Card for use in my newly purchased Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The memory card is a little expensive, but one has little choice as this Nano 128 GB Memory Card will only fit Huawei mobiles as it specifically made for them, and won't work in any other mobile brand. The memory card does the job that it's made for, and appears to be fault free. For the short time up to now that I've used it, I can recommend it for use in the Huawei Mate 20 Pro.

Comes up on phone as external storage. But easy to transfer media from the phone memory to the memory card. The card reads and writes data at high speed. For 40 quid I've been able to double the memory on my P30 pro to 256GB. Please note the cars does not come with a card reader. However you can access the memory card when connected to a laptop or computer if you want to back up your device without using Huawei cloud or Google pictures.

Installata su Mate 20 regalato a mia moglie, si comporta egregiamente; se non erro dovrebbe esser prodotta dalla divisione memorie della Toshiba, a quanto letto su alcuni blog del settore; subito riconosciuta dallo smartphone, è risultata molto veloce nel trasferimento dati, infatti ho copiato in poco più di 11 minuti ben 45 Gb di dati dalla vecchia micro SD alla nano SD in oggetto senza nessun problema. Unico difetto è il prezzo un pò alto e mi aspetto che Huawei porti in breve tempo il prezzo sui 25 - 27 € max (io l' ho pagata 59 € su Amazon, al suo prezzo di listino appena uscita) e metta in commercio con prezzi più bassi anche le versioni da 64 Gb (es. sui 17 €) e leggermente più elevati quelli da 256 e 512 Gb (il max installabile sul Mate 20, prezzate ad es. 53 € e 95 - 100 € rispettivamente), in quanto il formato proprietario non rappresenta mai la soluzione ideale e, affinchè possa prendere piede, bisogna lavorare sul prezzo per renderlo allettante ed esser preso in considerazione anche da altri costruttori al momento della progettazione dei nuovi smartpho ne che arriveranno (stessa considerazione anche per l' uso in ambito DIY per gli hobbisti di elettronica/programmazione). Queste sono le mie considerazioni per quello che possono valere, comunque sono molto soddisfatto del prodotto.

Ich habe die Speicherkarte für ein HUAWEI Mate 20 Pro gekauft. Einige negative Rezensionen haben mich zwar etwas nervös gemacht, aber wohl zu unrecht. Die Karte ließ sich einfach in den vorgesehenen Slot einsetzen und wurde auch sofort erkannt. Über die Einstellungen konnte dann der Standard-Speicherort festgelegt werden. Das hat alles sehr super funktioniert. Seit nun rund 3 Monaten versieht die Karte ohne Probleme ihren Dienst. Ich habe im Grunde vergessen, dass sie im Smartphone eingebaut ist. Hier beschriebene Kontakt und Funktionsprobleme kann ich bisher nicht feststellen. Im Grunde ist alles super. Die Karte ist zwar teuer, aber nach meiner Meinung den Preis wert. Schade nur, dass dieser Standard im Grunde schon wieder tot ist.
