Perfect design for women
This is the third wrist brace I've ordered for hand/wrist pain from typing, and it's the best by far. I'm a small woman, and I've realized that most wrist braces on the market are "unisex" which really means "made for men." This one is superior because it's actually designed for women. It fits snugly and comfortably, and there's not a bunch of excess velcro getting in my way from pulling the strap to the tightest setting. I have small wrists/forearms, and I don't even have to pull the strap to the tightest setting when wearing this wrist brace, which is unheard of for me. I also like that it's smaller overall compared to others I've tried. Those ones took up more than half my arm whereas this one goes about halfway down my arm.I haven't tried to wear it while sleeping, but it seems comfortable enough to sleep in. I mainly wear it when typing at the computer to reduce carpal tunnel symptoms.Like others, I love this wrist brace and want to purchase one for the right hand, but it's out of stock. Please restock the right side so us women can get the relief we need without having to use the bulky braces designed for men. I'd also love to see this come in more colors.

Perfect wrist guards!
This is the only wrist guard I will buy. It is comfortable yet supports the wrist. Other wrist guards are too rigid and uncomfortable. As you can see, they are well worn because I wear it any time I am at the computer. I do wash them in the washing machine in a lingerie bag (so the Velcro doesn’t snag on clothes), then hang dry.

Great for small hands/wrists.
I have purchased both the right and left braces about a dozen times in the last 15 years for myself, for my mother, for my friends. They were the only braces that were sturdy but small enough to fit my tiny wrists. I had very bad wrist issues that made me unable to hold anything or just have wrists that were not in pain. I wore these whenever I could, especially when I travelled with luggage or used a computer. After limiting movement a few years with these, my wrists were a lot better. There was no pain unless I pushed myself. A couple years later and my wrists were back to normal. It took a long time but I did not have to get surgery. These are still a little big around the thumb/palm area but the velcro straps wrap around tight enough to compress and reduce nerve pain even if the ends go past the circumference. Some of the braces I had were not sewn smoothly so I used some moleskin on those parts but the majority of them were great. Other braces I tried were usually too big or not sturdy enough. These are very well crafted and I still use them when I carry heavy loads as a preventative measure.

Right brace
Best ever wrist brace. But, I need one for the right hand and they’re unavailable. Why?

Must have if you're Pregnant
I'm pregnant and suddenly got carpal tunnel syndrome. My hands, particularly my fingertips (except the pinky) have gone numb, feels like pins and needles, and has a burning sensation. It is so hard to go about my day and do simple things like open up a bag of chips or jar. My OB said that while there's no way to cure carpal tunnel since it's part of pregnancy, especially in the 3rd trimester, it helps to wear a brace throughout the day and night to help stabilize the wrist and allow blood to flow. I have tried a handful of different braces here on Amazon, including compression wrist sleeves but I had issues with all of them whether it be comfort, quality, or range of motion. I decided to try this brace from Wellgate and so far it is my favorite. It's more rigid than the ones you can interchange between right and left hand but it does a better job at stabilizing my wrist AND the cut off by the fingers are low enough to allow more range of motion which is what I need during the day. Also, it is very comfortable to sleep in. My terrible carpal tunnel symptoms are still there but I find that the pain is less when I wear this brace. I almost returned this the first time I got it because it didn't seem to work, but I gave it a chance by wearing it for an entire week before making a sound decision. I can honestly say that this one is worth getting. The fit is also meant for women's hands and wrist. The velcro strap isn't very long so there isn't an access of material to wrap around your wrist. My hands don't sweat when wearing this all day and night so it is very breathable. If you're pregnant and have carpal tunnel, I highly recommend this product. Shortly after, I developed carpal tunnel on my left arm and so I will most definitely order another one for the left side.
