As I expected
The mouse feels a little awkward, but I'm sure I'd get used to it eventually. It's longer and taller than most mice I've used. Considerably heavier, though I expected that since it has a little motor inside. As someone else commented, the scroll wheel is poorly designed. To get the wheel to move, you have to press down on the wheel hard enough to click the wheel button. That probably will cause problems in programs that recognize that click, such as MS Office, IE, etc. Also, the mouse buttons are shaped funnily. They come up to a point in front of the scroll wheel. The vibration part works, though I was hoping it would be more powerful. I want to freak some friends out by having the mouse "bounce" when they walk by, but it just sits there and vibrates (which is all it was advertised to do, but still...). There's an adjustment on the mouse like a volume control that turns up/down the intensity. I like that.I'll probably end up just putting it on my 8-year old's computer, he'll get a big kick out of it while playing his games.Overall, it's just a fun idea, not much practical use except maybe to someone who can't hear.

REBATE IS A LIE !!! Company is dishonest !!
I am one of the many customers who got tricked out of the rebate by American Anko. The mouse box has TWO identical bar codes that both look exactly like UPCs. There is no way to tell which code is UPC and which one is EAN. If you send the wrong code, you will NOT get your rebate. I am pretty sure that this is done INTENTIONALLY to confuse the customer and NOT pay the rebate.I was able to get a partial rebate for this mouse product since they said that I sent the wrong UPC code. I had to make a number of calls to convince them that there is no way one can determine what is UPC code and what is EAN code.I hope all the people who got tricked by this company speak up and post their comments about this company. I am planning to write a letter to AMAZON as well as the BBB. If we let these things slide, companies like American Anko will continue cheating on us. If you need more proof that this company is tricking people out of their rebates, read the REBATE thread on the ANANDTECH FORUM.I also saw in one of the reviews that the "real" UPC is covered up with another sticker, so you MIGHT not even see it!I recommend that you NEVER deal with this company!

Not a bad mouse....
I bought this mouse because with the rebate, it was free. I'm not a big fan of the vibrating aspect -- I tried playing an audio CD while working and the cursor just bounced all over the place -- but my son likes it when he plays his games. So when I use it I just turn off the vibration. It is a little heavy, but who's picking it up? I prefer the term "solid". It seems to work very well with my favorite time-wasting game, Snood, so I give it an OK rating. Actually, I'm not on the computer that much, but for my limited use, it seems to work well enough.

Most Usless, What Were They Thinking Of Having It Do?
Ok, so I bought it because it had a rebate equal to the purchase price to go along with it and free shipping. Yes, it does vibrate and make itself a challenge to keep the cursor where you are trying to place it. I must admit to not understanding why this would be desirable. It is an oversize two button USB mouse that also has a plug that provides a pass through on the sound output from your computer. So when your computer makes sound, the mouse wobbles to the intensity of the sound. Hold the mouse up to your ear and you heara real tinney version of the current sound output, and of course the little wobblie motor shakes the mouse. Oh boy, If I had paid for thisI might be real grumpy, as it is, I have a gag gift, a practical joke, or something to give my 11 year old boy to disect without much care asto whether it ever goes back together again.

vibbbrrraaaates
I just got the mouse few days ago and experienced its vibrating power. It's a good mouse (with good USB driver, available on Win 98/ME CD and manufacture driver). It has vibrating control so you can adjust the vibrating intensity. It feels like MS Intellimouse and will pretty much do what MS Intellimouse does. However, after prolong use, my hand began to feel funky(?) and I ended up turning the vibrating intensity to off or very low. If you have arthritis, I recommend that you do not use it. Also, keep in mind that when the mouse vibrates so does the mouse pointer.

Confusing rebate..
The product is allright, it works as advertised...BR>I was...confused about the UPC code so I send both the bar codes in the box. I tried calling the company for verification but they never pickup the phone. The rebate check didn't come in 3 months, Neither did they send any communication.I contact them by email and they replied that the proof of purchase I had send is not good enough. I had enclosed the Amazon confirmation printout & bar codes. They replied I should have included the packaging slip as well. This was never mentioned anywhere in the rebate form. After much haggling and after sending back the packaging slip I got a partial rebate. The company is not customer friendly, so please don't buy this expecting help with product or mail in rebate..I hope...such companies [stop] taking advantage of it's valuable customers.

Works with Mac OS X
The wheel and right mouse button do work, under Mac OS X anyway. It's kind of neat at first but there are really too many different kinds of sounds for it to make sense -- for example, in Diablo II, it mostly ends up vibrating when your mage henchman casts a spell, which is once every .75 seconds.I also only bought it because it was free with the rebate. Of course I lost the rebate form. Which is pretty much what they were counting on.
