‘Odyssey’ a re-imagined greatest hits album that takes the listener on a journey through the incredible musical history of one of the UK’s most successful bands of all time. The ‘Odyssey’ album - produced by Stuart Price - features 27 tracks spanning three decades of the band’s history. ‘Odyssey’ is both a celebration of Take That’s past and present, an emotional journey through all their incarnations. The album is peppered with soundbites from their life, building a historical narrative around the songs - the story of five Northern teenage lads, who went on to become one of the biggest boy bands of all time, before splitting up and reforming again nine years later with one of the most sensational music comebacks ever seen. Review: Wonderful - I’m quite surprised by some of the negative comments here relating to this album. The group could have created a lazily put together compilation ready made for supermarket shelves with no consideration for flow and selection. Instead, they have produced an exceptional document of the bands career for much of 30 years and done so in such a way that is refreshing, plays continuously by flowing from one song to the next and with a feature length documentary feel. With regard to the different versions of songs, in all honesty I think they could have gone further. Most tracks are the originals given a modern remaster. Pray is getting the biggest bashing yet improves the original which 25 years later sounds very dated. If you want that version, dig out Everything Changes, Greatest Hits or Never Forget, the cd’s already available which its part of. All the big singles are here, however would have liked a few more album tracks such as Wonderland, Love Love, Eight Letters (which was integral to the Progress period) and the fantastic Hope. When We Were Young was tailor made for this type of compilation as it's looking back over the years, so surprised that didn't get another outing here. But you can’t please everyone. Of the three new tracks, all are really good but I think Spin should have been the ‘single’ rather than Out Of Our Heads. Welcome additions to the catalogue. So, a refreshing way to look at a career retrospective and not just a tick box exercise. Absolutely brilliant. 5/5 Review: great! Love it! - I didn't plan on buying this CD but after recently getting the Odyssey tour Blu-ray I decided it was worth getting particularly for the reimagined versions of old songs, new songs and the general layout... seeing as its just like the tour DVD (which is essentially a live version of this CD) and I love watching that.

GOOD CD
Good selection of songs, the only pity was the version of PRAY was not the original I like. Good price and quality.

Its OK
Five stars for the music as Its OK to listen to with all the hits in one place so enjoyed it. Not sure what all the chit chat was about between tracks as that spoiled it a bit for me. Did not like the cardboard packet the discs came in as CD1 drops out too easily and CD2 was difficult to get out.

Great sound quality
I enjoyed the music. Not usually a Take That fan, but really enjoyed their songs. CD came in good condition although I had to contact seller to confirm that it had been dispatched. Many thanks to the sellers kind response.

Worth the wait
Love this album - yes they have done very different versions of some of their greatest hits, but they still work. Can't wait to see them on tour and hear them perform these versions live.

I came late to the party—2018–but love Take That’s music. I’ve been playing catch up for the last 12 months. Thank you!

I love this CD from my favorite boy/man band!

The compilation just truly doesn't sound right. The vibe of the ambiance with the way these songs are written to be played is not a match.
