How I Beat It on a Shoestring Budget! You Don't Have to be Cancer's Next Victim By Mary Rock
I chose this book because I wanted to know how cancer could be eliminated as several of immediate family members are experiencing cancer. Mary Rocks opinion in her book gives you the understanding of not only what cancer is but how it effects the whole body. Her book gives you options to how to become healthy...not only of body but spirit as well. What she recommends is not only directed at cancer but also of other health issues. Her findings and opinion are quite balanced and her assessment of finding the right combinations of food, vitamins, herbs to become healthy is a book I highly agree and recommend.

A Smattering of Good Alternatives
I have a collection of DIY cancer cure books, & this one involved the author beating what she decided was Stage 4 breast cancer--she never got an official medical diagnosis, but relied on online photos of women with diseased breasts. The book is repetitive at times and the author relies heavily on what Hulda Clark believed, and there are many references to other books, also to the author's website where she sells many of the curatives and books. I am always dismayed with any book that advertises the author's website--selling herbals, etc. I was hoping Mary Rock's book had specifics about the different modes of attacking one's cancer, but it isn't consistent thruout--some methods get more attention than others. Essiac tea, a decades-old Ojibwa Indian herbal remedy, is only given a paragraph at the very end of Mary's book, yet has a long history of purported cures. But it would be near impossible to delve into every alternative cancer cure, as this is author Mary's story of how SHE did it.I really liked the author's attitude about avoiding conventional treatment--cancer, after all, has become big business and basically its own industry. I have watched many family members and/or friends go the conventional slash/burn/chemo route & be cured, only to have the cancer re-emerge 2 or so yrs later, more virulent than ever. I totally believe in doctoring yourself, and this book has some wonderful ideas to do just that. There is a strong Christian bend to the book, so if that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are two wonderful cancer alternative treatment books I highly recommend: Tripping Over the Truth by Travis Christofferson, and Surviving Terminal Cancer by Ben A. Williams, Ph.D.

Best information that I have ever seen put together all ...
Best information that I have ever seen put together all in one place on defeating cancer naturally. Mary Rock reveals her resources and protocol. She takes much of the guess work out of defeating cancer. I would recommend Mary's book to anyone struggling with cancer and what to do about it. A real alternative to the conventional (treatment) methods of poison, cut, and burn.

Worth every penny! Spoken as a true survivor.
Not enough medical backup for those who insist on seeing it. Great analysis of Dr. Hulda Clark's difficult book
