Great cable, fits perfectly. Connections are solid and secure, compatible with many PC models too.

The cable clamshell is nicely constructed of metal (a rarity), and small - without extra protrusions that could get in the way of adjacent plugs. I like the metallic blue colour and understated labelling - but its not normally going to be visible anyway. The cable is shorter (3ft) than the excessive lengths often seen in the past, which is fine for most installations - without the extra length getting in the way. The price is ridiculously low compared to prices I was seeing in stores for Single Link DVI-D cables, while I was trying (vainly) to find a full dual link DVI-D cable (required to drive larger/higher definition/faster refresh monitors). It IS missing the old analog C1 to C5 signals that DVI-I or DVI-A would have, but you would have to have a very old monitor to require them (and an adapter), and wouldn't be shopping for a Dual Link cable in that case. It can be used in place of DVI-D (single link) as dual link includes all those pins.- and you may as well as there is no downside to using dual link in place of single link, especially at this price. I bought a couple of these, and haven't had to look at or think about them for months - which is exactly what the case should be for quality cables.

Had to replace an old VGA cable to upgrade my video adapter without replacing the monitor. This fit the bill perfectly. Video adapter only did HDMI or Display port. The monitor only did VGA or DVI. Pre existing Display port to DVI adapter plus this cable equals problem solved.

Works great and is much cheaper than the bookstore alternative. Handles my 2 1080p monitors with ease(two cable) The quality is really on point here. The metal gives it that nice sleek design and the performance backs it up allowing you to stream watch and game in a crisp 1080P resolution.

This cable solved my problem, my HDMI port on my monitor went bad, I didn't know what was wrong, instead of taking the monitor apart and try to fix the issue, I decided to order this cable and try the DVI port instead, I was a little hesitant in getting this cable because of the picture quality I would get, but since I was using it for work, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it. To my surprise this option worked perfectly, I didn't see any quality difference for what I needed it for.

Fairly substantial cord and sturdy connectors. Works great for my LED monitor DVI hookup to computer. I had searched for a bit to find a cable for my situation and was happy to find this one at such a good price with so many positive reviews, so I bought and am pleased to add my 5 stars to the pack. I just ordered the 10 foot version for my other setup. The only complaint I have is I wish they sold a 5 or 6 foot version--I don't actually need 10 feet for my second setup, but that was the best suitable option.

For the people wondering whether or not it's the right size. As you can see in the picture the cable reached from the cpu to the monitor without problems. I have a lot of VGA cables but after this DVI I might go for DVI from now on. The picture quality it just feels sharper and with a better quality. Pricewise is also really good considering you don't need too much lenght UNLESS you have your CPU far away from your monitor (I know some people that do) If this was the case I would recommend you to put your CPU next to your monitor or just buy a longer cable. Really happy with my purchase!

This cable does what you need it to, but it was too short for me. I needed at least 1 more foot. I accidentally purchased the 3ft cable instead of the 6ft cable, and returning the product would have cost me almost as much as the product itself. I'm keeping it for that reason alone. Other than that, if you're using VGA cables on a monitor capable of HD, then do yourself a favor and purchase a DVI (or HDMI) cable. The difference in resolution is phenomenal. Just don't make the same mistake I did and purchase the incorrect length.
