Have you ever taken a bit of something and vocally exclaimed "oh my god, this is so good!". Yep, that literally just happened to me. I've been making my way through different brands of sardines and Wild Planet had been in my cabinet for some time. It's Saturday night and I awoke from an early evening nap that saw me oversleeping and waking up starving at 10pm. So I figured I'd just have some pasta and toss it in olive oil, easy peasy. Then I saw the sardines... protein.. YES! I boiled up the pasta and after it was cooked put it into a skillet with a tablespoon of pasta water over low heat. I opened the Wild Planet sardines and dumped it into the pan. First I was shocked by how full and firm they were! I used my cooking utensil to break each one into four peices as I tossed them into the pasta, I then seasoned with a generous helping of italian seasoning, garlic, powder, freshly ground black pepper and a little drizzle of olive oil, then cranked the heat up to medium and tossed for another 15-20 seconds. Scooped it into a plate and from the very first bite.. OH MY GOD. The sardines remained firm and took on the seasoning beautifully, every single bite was heavenly. All that was missing was a fresh squeeze of lemon on top to make it taste a bit brighter. But I INHALED it. Best late dinner I've had in a while, and it took me 10 minutes to cook it up. I thought King Oscar was my go to... Wild Planet knocked them off the podium. Truly delicious. BUY THEM!

These sardines are well-packed, well-preserved, and delicious. They are easy to remove from the can, much more than other brands I have bought.

Love this product! It’s like a fresh catch. However, with this seller it took almost 3 weeks to receive and I am a Prime member. So, if you can wait, it is a good price

Absolutely wonderful, there are three very large sardines in oil that took me by pleasant surprise. They fit perfectly onto a Wasa cracker. The head and tail are gone and the bones remain just the way I like them and they are easily smooched down to spread further around on what is already a filled cracker with sardine. I took a chance on this product and it won my vote. For anyone that is a sardine lover and interested in their health, the soft bones are in for calcium and marinated in extra virgin olive oil that is the cat's meow... Wow. Not saying I feed my cat these sardines, no way...this is strictly my treat. Makes a great lunch. I am impressed. Thank-You

These sardines are really high quality and delicious. I used to buy them at my local super market but then they stopped carrying them a few months ago for some reason. I was very pleased to find these on Amazon for a really great price. I eat one can of these sardines for either lunch or dinner almost every single day.

This is not a run of the mill can of sardines. Absent is the silty, oily flavor. Warning: when you open a can, your cats will not leave you alone.
