Uncontrollable
This Kaddy did provide extra much needed storage for our camping trip but was like towing around an anchor. We used the towing stap that was included. It didnt matter if the Kaddy was weighed down or empty, it made controling our kayak very difficult in little wind conditions. They do offer a towing rod that might improve use, but we only had a strap. Don't buy, pack less.

Alternative use for the caddy
This thing is awesome! I've even taken the hatch cover off and let my Jack Russell terrier ride in it like a miniature kayak and her loved it.

Holds a great deal of stuff
Holds a great deal of stuff. It needs a better way to hook to my kayak. Disappointed in what was provided.

Wrong Color!!
I ordered red and got orange!! Too late to return it since my trip is only a few weeks away. Very disappointed with mix up. Will evaluate performance later.

Tracks behind you better if you balance test float before you go
Excellent product, storage for additional tackle boxes which keeps your kayak clutter free and also allows you to mount any accessories and a night safety mast light. Wading the Scioto River for smallmouth bass? I wouldn’t go without my Kayak Kaddy!
