great sled. i use this sled for ice fishing
great sled. i use this sled for ice fishing. perfect size for all my gear needed for a day on the lake.( ice auger, traps, bait bucket, cooler w/ beverages and lunch, small grill for cooking, extra clothes etc.) i use otter tow hitch and pivot hitch behind my atv. i haven't had mine for long, but it seems very well made and i'm sure it will last a very long time. i have friends and family that have been using their otter sleds for many years. if you plan to tow your sled behind an atv or snow machine i also recommend the otter sled cover to keep the rooster tail from filling your gear with snow.

Perfect Sled
Calling this a "mini" sled is not really a fair description. I used this sled to go fishing this past weekend, and I fit two camping chairs, an auger, a small heater, a large chisel, a bait bucket, my bucket of tipups and jigging poles, my tacklebox, and a bag of food. A couple of bungee cords, and everything was tight and secure. And I dragged this sled on the ice for a little less than a mile while barely breaking a sweat. This sled fits everything you need and is light enough for the walker or snowshoer to drag with ease. Not to mention it's one of the cheapest and LIGHTEST sleds on the market.

Get the Hyfax kit and tow bar that go with this and you've got a first class hauling sled to go behind your ATV or snow machine!

Great sled for hunters!!! Helps with dragging gear and even game.
I love the sled and the flexibility to put in a hitch with a shoulder rig to pull it behind you. The quality is good, however when I received mine it had scratches already on the bottom of it and it looked used. I don't think it was as the stickers were still all on there so I think it was just someone had dragged it in a warehouse or that is just how it came to me. This small issue did not affect functionality however and it works great. Amazon did credit me back a small amount due to the scratches etc. I look forward to using this during hunting season to drag my gear in the snow and possibly even game that I might get up through deer size. I would recommend this to other hunters.

I pull it behind a snowmobile. It is large enough for plenty of ice fishing gear and it is so light that I hardly notice that I am pulling it. The tow hitch that I also bought works great with it.

Do not come with a hitch but that was not a problem my friend made one for me works perfect.
This is a great solid heavy duty sled. It will be used to haul wood and grocerys also gear up to my cabin.
