It’s Pink! Daughter’s Happy.
I bought a pink whistle for my daughter to begin learning. It works. I have another Walton whistle that is a different shape, and it affects the tone. I prefer the tone of the other whistle, but this one gets the job done well enough.

Little Yellow D tin whistle - cute and perfect for beginners
- First, packaging: it was perfect! The tin whistle looked protected in its plastic case, but the tube packaging definitely added more protection and padding.- the tin whistle itself is just too cute. Yellow is my 10 YO daughter’s favourite colour. She was thrilled to have her own. I have already the Little Black D so I’m familiar with this model. It’s not expensive, quite solid, light weight, and easy to play right away.Of course, it requires practice (I already pictured myself playing along The Corrs when I got my first tin whistle). It’s a bit airy in the high notes, but practice will help control the pitch. It comes with some instructions (notes, finger chart) and a sheet music for 3 melodies.I’ve just placed an order for the blue tin whistle for my oldest daughter… our neighbours are going to be SO happy 😅

We use these for CC
These feel and look better than the ones you get from the classical conversations page. We had bought 2 CC ones and one the ripple broke completely and the other doesn't feel far behind. These feel sturdy. Also prime delivery instead of whatever you'd have to pay from the CC store if your don't have an order over $100.My girls love having the choice of their own color too.

It got worse from earlier models
I got one for my Daughter a few years ago, from a store in the UK. Wanted to play with her so I got the same model in a different color. The new whistle is 3 times lighter, meaning less material and less sturdy, the tone also suffers. The MP is wobbly, I needed to sand it a bit to make better sound, but its still a lot sharper so I needed to extend the MP out a bit to even the tuning with the older whistle I already had. In short, I regret getting this, the Meg, Generation and Clark whistles, including some China models, are in better shape than this one - so I think they should get back to the one they made a few years ago and not save a few $ on the metal. Cheers

Ours have lasted 5 years and are still going strong!
We use these at our Classical Conversations community, and we love them! They are very sturdy. The mouthpieces don't break. And it's very rare that they even get dented. That's saying a lot with kids using them. They also have a nicer tone than other tin whistles. I whole-heartedly recommend them.

Not very durable
My toddler was using it for homeschool for about two weeks and it’s already dented pretty bad. Need to replace it already.
