Premium White Chin Strap with Extra Support Straps Review: ALL TIME VERY BEST and CHEAPEST Chin Strap I have ever used! I LOVE IT! - I have owned many chin straps from all the big CPAP makers as I have used a CPAP for almost 20 years. HANDS DOWN THIS IS THE BEST ONE EVER. It is simple, durable, VERY AFFORDABLE, and if you follow the directions, IT WORKS. The material feels as good as all the other chin straps out there, it fits well, the support strap (IF you put it on right) is very helpful... and it would keep a mules mouth shut it is so good. The reason I am so pumped about this strap is because it works and is FAR cheaper than the other straps by Resperonics. PROS WORKS EASY TO USE QUALITY PRICE CONS I do wish it came in girly colors but what the heck that's just a wish not a complaint! I love this product! Review: Simple, works well. - Very breathable, soft, highly adjustable with velcro type closures. Works well to keep jaw closed and prevent mouth breathing and snoring during sleep. My last one was easily machine washable and only lost it's ability to stretch after a year of nightly use. The pictures and discription to not show the two velcro straps that are included. This device is comfortable, reasonably priced, long lasting, and works well. I have tried other chin straps and this simple one works best for me.

Lack of quality control!
I have been buying this chinstrap since 2019, when I started using a BiPAP. It has the widest range of adjustment of any wide chinstrap I’ve been able to find. That’s important because I find that as the chinstrap ages I have to tighten it from time to time. A wide adjustment range means that it’s possible to keep using the same chinstrap for a longer period of time before discarding it. The problem with this chinstrap is that there is no quality control from the manufacturer. During the pandemic I believed that that lack of quality control might have been due to supply chain problems. During those years the chin straps were pretty much consistently the same size but the elastic material varied widely in its characteristics. Sometimes it was flabby and would last for a relatively short period of time before I run out of adjustment range. Sometimes the elastic was relatively strong and could last for many months with only slight adjustments. I made the mistake of buying several of these chinstraps at once recently and then did not open one until after the return window had closed. What I discovered is that the latest batch of these chinstraps not only used very flabby elastic and lower quality Velcro but the total length of the strap was also about 2 inches longer than previous shipments I had received. When set at the beginning of its adjustment range the strap was inches below my chin which is of course useless. The result of this combination is that I had to tighten the chinstrap beyond its normal adjustment range so that the Velcro was almost failing to overlap to get it tight enough to hold up my chin. That in turn means that there is no reserve adjustment range available for tightening it as the elastic ages and becomes even more flabby. I can only hope that the next time I order this product I will receive a strap with strong elastic of the proper length and with good quality Velcro. You can be sure I will not order several at once again and that I will open the package immediately on receiving it. I eventually figured out how to use gorilla glue to shorten the strap to make it usable by gluing a "Z" shaped section behind the smaller Velcro segment. I recently ordered 2 more of these. this time I didn't even receive the same product. The label on the outside said PRIMADA PREMIUM but a sheet of paper inside admitted that it as a SUNSET HEALTHCARE CS004L. the longer Velcro section was 1-1/2 inches shorter than the PRIMADA, making it much less adjustable. The elastic seems wimpier too. Since this item is non-returnable, all I can do I complain here, I guess. I'd sure like to find a source of the original straps.

The Premium White Chin Strap is comfortable, easy to use and effective
I am going to write this review and copy and paste it to the Ruby Chin Strap. The Premium White Chin Strap is comfortable, easy to use and effective. As such, I recommend it.I use it in conjunction with a CPAP. It keeps my jaw closed allowing the CPAP to work more effectively. The CPAA straps fit nicely over the chin strap. It does not prevent the dry mouth i get from the CPAP. I haven't yet found an answer for that. The Ruby Chin Strap is comfortable and effective. It is not as easy to use. It has two joining places in the back of the head and it is a little tougher to get it adjusted. Once set it is quite good. One draw back I found with the Ruby Chin strap. It comes in two sizes. As I have a large head, I bought the large size. My head could almost swim in it. So I ordered the smaller size. It didn't even join in the back. They need to speak to Goldilocks. Pleasant dreams.

Best by far I've tried old school is still the best
It's comfortable and fits great. It doesn't move. It adjustable. It actually does what it's suppose to do. Doesn't hurt side of your face. It actually can work as ear warmers lol. I'll buy this again when this one wears out.

Fairly good product, hasn't worked for me
I have a big head so I got this to see if it would help my dry mouth issues on CPAP. It does reduce dry mouth, especially at first, and reduces the mask lines on your face. The front and back stablizing straps are surprisingly soft and comfortable if you're able to wear it with the velcro entirely on the main strap. I felt these were the best part of the device. When I wore it like pictured, it made my TMJ worse, so I had to wear it completely under my chin. The strap is too wide for that, which made me feel strangled, so I cut away one of the ridges to make the main strap thinner. This got rid of the strangled feeling. Problem is that the underlying material is bristly, and the strap begins unraveling. I managed by wearing it so the smooth part was next to my throat, but the bristly bits irritated the sides of my face at times. Another problem was that the front and back straps to stabilize the main strap were too short for me. So I had to wear it with the velcro part partially exposed (not completely on the strap) and sometimes the velcro pulled my hair. Also, the top of the main strap has stitching which is quite thick and dug into the top of my head which was painful in the mornings. If you wear it the way I do this will totally blow out your leak numbers (pun intended), as there's no way to make a good mask seal with this underneath it. After a while the main strap stretched out and the dry mouth came back to the point it wasn't working for me. So at present I don't use it. I may go back to it and try some things, like covering the raveling bits with a softer material. Overall this is a fairly good product but hasn't worked well for me. If you have the right size head, jaw, and face and do not have any TMJ problems this could be perfect for you. Just be aware that for many people this will be a temporary solution - but if you're handy it's worth buying just to see how to make one of your own with better main strap materials.

Great for mouth breathers
This helps me to sleep without opening my mouth too much. I have tried all the fancier looking ones but they are usually far less comfortable, I.e ear cutouts that are too small and cut into your ears.

Not the same material as previous chin straps
I have used the PRIMADA chinstrap from AG Industries for years. It is the only chin strap that keeps my mouth close so that I do not mouth breathe while sleeping. However, the chin strap I received from Amazon in my most recent order was disappointing to say the least. Apparently, the material being used has changed from a sturdy cotton elastic to a lighter, much less sturdy open weave material that simply does not work for me. After 4 weeks of use, this newest chin strap is already stretched out. The former material lasted me at least 4 to 5 months. Fortunately, I have been able to locate the original product from another supplier. Very sorry I will not be able to order this through Amazon in the future, but have to have a strong, reliable chin strap in order for my CPAP therapy to be successful.
