Bought for my daughter for her 10th birthday (she loves succulents!) She really enjoyed following the easy instructions with explanations and the information about how terrariums work! Only issue we had was the kit had plenty of everything except the soil, for which there wasn't close to the amount needed. We've left the cacti and succulents sitting on top of the soil layer and covered areas with the reindeer moss.Overall a lovely experience. I wonder if the company would happily send me some extra soil?

This kit was really helpful in creating my first terrarium. I had no clue what soil or materials to use to create one, so this kit along with the instructions proved invaluable. It does clearly say on the product images that no vase is included in the kit, and I was happy enough to source my own container to fit the plants I already have. Creating a terrarium is quite addictive, and I now have plans to make more.

It’s nice for those who have never tried (like me) to do a terrarium before and wants to try. But if you have it or if you want to do it in a larger pot it’s better to buy each of the things separately and it will be way cheaper considering that this kit doesn’t include the plant nor the pot. I am a total beginner and I think mine looks cute (I really hope my succulent is not dead by tomorrow). It’s a small amount of each thing, so take a look in the pot you have, mine it’s slightly different from the one in the instructions, it has 16cm of diameter and I used it all. I’d say it could fit more in the pot if I had more available.

Plants are not here yet (of course lol) but I feel like this is a really good product. It says at the top what products are included in the kit and how much of each product you’ll get and of course you have to buy your own plants and terrarium, it wouldn’t be that price If so. You can design it however you want and is super easy to maintain.

A good gift for someone interested in terrariums. Despite not coming with a plant or a container, it has all the other essentials needed to create the desired effect. Especially worthwhile if you already have a glass bowl and need some inspiration on what to put in it!
